HOOVER1979 UltraHD Texture Pack
UPDATED: The 3rd demo has most of the textures in a file/folder format with the exception to the final Doom overrides, which are still in PK3 files as I couldn't get GZDoom to detect them in any folder I tried. This means there is a huge boost in performance and 99% of the stuttering/freezing present in the second demo is gone. It is highly recommended that you download the 3rd demo and later demos as they are released so as not to have the stutters caused by GZDoom pulling the textures from PK3 files.
This is the second demo release of my work in progress UltraHD Texture pack for Doom, Doom II, Plutonia Experiment and Evilution.
The texture pack is in 5 files. One main file and 4 game-specific override files. this is not only so that all 4 doom games have their own skies and don't all share Doom 2's skies but because some textures in The Plutonia Experiment and Evilution use the same names as some of the Doom/Doom2 textures. for each game, you will need to load both the main file and the override for your game. For example for Doom 1, you would need to load the main file in a batch file and then the doom 1 override afterwards.

This pack is still a long way from completion and all textures presented in this pack are subject to change. I am teaching myself as I go, and as my skills further develop textures that aren't up to scratch with the developed skills will be remade so the utmost attention to detail and overall quality is upheld.
These textures are of a whopping resolution and this pack is designed for GZDoom. This pack will crash Doomsday/Risen 3D at multiple points with memory allocation errors it is due to some textures/skies being larger then the strict requirements the JDoom engine will allow. I plan to make a Doomsday/Risen3D compatible pack when this one is finished. I also plan on making a bright map pack for the GZDoom pack and a smaller 1k texture pack for low-end machines. I have only tested this pack with the 64bit Gzdoom 3.1 The same crash issues may be present with the 32bit version of GZDoom, but I am unsure of that as I haven't tested this on the 32Bit version of GZDOOM. Use this on the 32bit version at your own risk, and don't be surprised if you get crashes.
If you want to use any of these textures in your own project you are welcome as long as the following conditions are adhered too.
1: You must not modify my work
2: You must not claim my work to be your own
3: You must give me credit for my work on your mod's page, in the accompanying readme file and everywhere you advertise your mod this includes linking to my ModDB page and My Deviantart Repository.

O mierda huele a quemado
I have some bad news. Yesterday my rig has become inoperable as after seconds from booting up the display gets cut and all my fans rev at 100%. I have to get it repaired but am worried I will not be able to afford to get it fixed. I am using my dad's laptop to post this comment, but due to the CPU being hot I can't use the laptop to make textures.

I just found out why my back hurts when I am hunching over my keyboard/mouse. I had scans done and I have a fractured T7 vertebra. I now have to take it easy until it heals (vertebral fractures take up to 3 months to heal, unlike other bones that take 6-8 weeks to heal). Now not only am I unable to do my textures but also can't play my games and am only using my PC for TV (I have an HDTV tuner) and watching movies.
I've had to take a break from texturing altogether. I am dealing with severe anxiety that even medical cannabis isn't touching and I'm having daily panic attacks and can't concentrate and also can't eat.
It looks nice overall I most likely prefer some of these to the KuriKai teams DHTP and Doomenator's 1.3 AltDHTP but there is definitely some charm in both of those first resolution packs I don't think i'll be able to shake love the portrayal of the game in them. Normal/bump mapping active in a sourceport would be great could really make this stuff look good, really what it's missing aside more refined original looking sprite work.

I will be taking a short break from making textures for Doom. The reason why is I started a new project retexturing Blake Stone Aliens of Gold and Planet Strike for the Bstone port. I am the first person to work on a texture pack for Blake Stone. I will try to reach out to Graf-Zahl to find out if I can put the entire 3rd demo into 1 PK3 file instead of 5 PK3 files. When that is done I will rerelease the 3rd demo as a PK3 for later versions of GZDoom. I have not given up on this mod, it's just a short break. I hope to have all the AOG and PS textures done this year. There aren't nearly as many textures to redo so it will be a quick(ish) job, assuming my health doesn't get any worse.
To be fair (based on your earlier post), in Pre-Med we learned that the brain can indeed regenerate damaged tissue over time, even up to 100% in cases contrary to popular belief. Take your time with the mod. We're not in a hurry.
