HaloWarsDE Mod Manager
A handy mod manager for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition. Supports both Steam and Microsoft Store versions.
To entice newcomers of the Halo Wars: Definitive Edition modding community, I've developed this tool as a means of easily loading mods into one's game. This is not a mod; I just wanted to make a "mod" page for this tool as to keep version files organized XD. More updates are to come soon.
How To Install
- Download the HaloWarsDE-ModManager-Unpacker.exe file from HERE
- Run the executable
- Tell the unpacker where you want to extract the mod manager (don't worry about loose files, it'll extract it to its own folder wherever you tell it to unpack to)
- Run the mod manager! It will create a shortcut on your desktop if one does not already exist
- Either double click the shortcut or the HaloWarsDE Mod Manager.exe file, and play!

im getting a startup error saying that there's already an existing instance of Halo DE Mod Manager is running. I don't know how to fix it.
I'm having trouble getting the mod manager to consistently start. It will always give me the UAC prompt and will show up in task manager but a majority of the time it will just get stuck there. ending task or ending task tree shuts it down but doesn't seem to improve my odd of it working on the next try. I thought it might have just been my old HDD, so I moved it onto my boot SSD, and it worked... once and then went right back to the issue. it's a really helpful tool and I love using it when it works but this is pain my dude.
Hey big guy I suffer from the sad experience of mod doesn't work, it launched once and refuses to work again whilst I wallow in despair over the lack of my mods

double click on the exe, not the shortcut and then should prompt you to update and that should fix that problem.
did u find out? cause im having the issue too
