Feel free to leave any feedback here. If you have any suggestions or bug reports, message me on Discord in the Halo Wars Modding server in the mod-manager channel, as I don't manage ModDB every day (and I don't really get many notifications from ModDB): Discord.gg

I have encountered an issue. None of the mods i got have a ''ModData'' folder. Can i just combine the old modding method with the launcher and use a ''ModManifest'' file for the launcher, or what do i do from here?

You can create a temporary ModData folder yourself until the author of the mods include their own.

Do these steps:
1) Make a containing folder (as an example, I'll say ExampleMod)
2) Make a ModData folder inside the containing folder
3) Place your mod's files (art, startup, data, scenario, etc) into the ModData folder
4) Launch the ModManifestMaker.exe file and click the Browse for Mod Folder button
5) In the window that pops up, select your mod's containing folder (again, ExampleMod in this case). If all goes well, it won't prompt you about the mod's ModData folder
6) Fill in any other details for your mod, especially in the "Required" section of the Mod Manifest Maker
7) Press the Save button; a .hwmod file will appear next to the ModData folder
8) Move the containing folder into your specified Mods folder
9) Your mod should now display in the mod manager

Hope that all makes sense; I will make a video soon to visualize this process

With your info i have found a quicker way. I got all my mods drag and dropped in the ''HWDE Mods'' folder. I went to, for example, ''Leader Overhaul'' and made a ModData folder in it's main directory. After that, i selected everything escept the ModData folder, and drag and dropped everything in that ModData folder, basically making that folder it's main directory now, inside the main mod's folder to avoid confusion. After that i did the required steps as intended, and it works, without needing to add, delete, replace or move anything after the ModManifest creation. Thanks for the help!
