GMDX V10 is a community made update for the GMDX mod. It features over 1400 new changes, in areas ranging from artistic direction to deepened function, and even bug fixing and attempts to reinforce adherence to canon. It's been built to have zero obligation (should a user not prefer it) by using a separate installation and save directory. Many save files are supported retroactively, although some hiccups do occur, as this was not a strictly intended feature. In our opinion, the game looks better, runs better, is balanced better. If you're looking for a way to facelift Vanilla or simply touch up GMDX, we think you'll enjoy what we bring to the table with v10. By the community, for the community.

You can check the changelog for any changes you have questions about. Don't be afraid to comment. We'll be happy to discuss any questions or suggestions you may have. We hope to enjoy, and hope to hear from you.

Sincerely, The Maintenance Men.

Interesting, does this have the features included in version 9.0.4 or just the ones from 9.0.3?

GMDX v10 has no affiliation with RoSoDude or GMDX v9.0.4, all changes are based upon GMDX v9.0.3.

I have a question, GMDX v9.03 support multilanguage like French, Spanish, German. The v10 version will stay in english only or you got some future plans for translations ? Thank in advance for your answer =)

MessageLog: Multiple language support is a good feature. This should be an objective down the line. V10 now supports more thorough translations already. This is because some text was not made open to translation in v9. Thanks you for bringing this up. We shall see what we can do.

Finally, the awaited 25 December update! However, I don't understand how to use the installer. The .exe uncompresses some files, but it's nowhere to be found. I manually opened the .exe with 7-zip and found 'GMDXv10FileArchive' folder and 'InstallGMDXv10.bat' batch file, but when I run the batch file it kept showing 'Can't find the specified folder/file'

edit: nevermind! Turns out I have to run the setup.exe.

So you have to run the GMDXv10_Setup.1.exe and after that another setup.exe in Deus Ex-Folder? I thought just running the GMDXv10_Setup.1.exe was enough.

Hey, I can't see the subtitles in 21:9 (3440x1440). I know from Kentie's Launcher, that there is a widescreen subtitle fix. I also found it in the GMDXv10.ini, but it doesn't seem to work.

Also the lips of characters in cutscenes stop moving.

In the original, the game tries to letterbox the cutscenes to make them more cinematic, to do this it tries to draw the game in a 16:9 ratio and then draw the letterbox bars above and below, with the subtitles being displayed on the lower bar. With most modern monitors being 16:9 the bars simply weren't drawn on the monitor at all. To fix this I tried to make the game draw a 20:9 view instead of a 16:9 view, however I guess this is too close to your ratio to display them.
I will see what I can do, perhaps I'll include a variable you can change to make the desired ratio something that will draw them for you.

For the lip syncing, try changing the audio device from OpenAL to Galaxy.

Thank you. I already changed the audio device from OpenAL to Galaxy. That fixed the fast moving lips, but the lips still stop moving. I'm re-installing the game + GMDX atm, see if this helps.
A exposed variable in the ini-file would be great, or just a boolean to set to true if the user has an ultrawide display.

You can edit either GMDXUser.ini and look for DeusEx.Human or in game use the command "Set Human bWideRatioMonitor True".

I just downloaded the update and it's not there. Also using the command ingame gives me back a "Unrecognized property bWideRatioMonitor". I also noticed that the new version still says "12/12/18" and I can't seem to find the checkbox to activate the perks.
