GMDX V10 is a community made update for the GMDX mod. It features over 1400 new changes, in areas ranging from artistic direction to deepened function, and even bug fixing and attempts to reinforce adherence to canon. It's been built to have zero obligation (should a user not prefer it) by using a separate installation and save directory. Many save files are supported retroactively, although some hiccups do occur, as this was not a strictly intended feature. In our opinion, the game looks better, runs better, is balanced better. If you're looking for a way to facelift Vanilla or simply touch up GMDX, we think you'll enjoy what we bring to the table with v10. By the community, for the community.

Please add silencer mod to normal pistol again and perks from gmdx v9
MessageLog:"The silencer on the normal pistol will not be restored as it completely invalidates the stealth pistol. It was not an option in the base game for a reason. It severely compromises the balance of the pistol tree which is already very narrow in selection.
This being said the perks from v9 are actually currently accessible. After installation you may find the 'GMDXv10User' config file in your 'DeusEx\System' directory. Under the '[DeusEx.Human]' header find the variable 'bUseOldPerks'. Set the value to 'true' instead of 'false'. This enables v9 perks instead of those tailored for the 'v10' community update."
Hey! I'd like my rubber bullets for shotgun back! Also I am getting a crash when I made it to the UNATCO HQ level (first time), just after Liberty Island level 01, said crash having to do with a lack o memory. Its fixed by reducing display configurations world texture and object quality and disabling HDTP, I think.

Similarly rubber shotgun rounds were removed for serving no utility. Nonlethal damage on a very loud gun in extremely limited quantity serves no purpose as nonlethal's primary utility is being a quiet takedown. Hi, thank you guy for all the efforts. I would like to report a bug on the latest version. When I reach new York , the music starts to stutter and skips some notes (interestingly in paul apartment ,it works fine even tho it's the same soundtrack). Same thing happens to the tavern soundtrack. It was all fine before I reached new york.

Anyone have a problem with UI scaling with this version? To be more precise, whenever I load the save from previous version of GMDX10 the UI scaling would revert to the "blurry" ratio and there is nothing I can do to fix it.

Thank you for answering, starting a new game does keep the scaling intact, it's only broken when I loaded the old save game. I really wish to continue this save file since I've made quite a progress with it.

For some reason the EXE isn't running. It just has the extraction window, then nothing. I have tried running it in various compatibility settings. I am running windows 10. Is there any way perhaps to manually install it?

Suggestion: Create an option to change the SpyDrone camera between the main view (player perspective) and the small window. Tried to do that myself but changing "winDrone.SetViewportActor(Player.aDrone);" to "winDrone.SetViewportActor(Player)" in AugmentationDisplayWindow.uc was no good, 'cause the câmera doesn't follow the drone.
That would create a good experience.

I have yet to play GMDX at all, thus stupid questions:
- the mod requires the GOTY version of the game, but there are numerous bugs in the map files (for example, missing music in NYC level). Should I revert the map files from the unpatched game, or it doesn't matter anymore?
- when the mod is being updated, all my save files made so far would be broken?
- the newest updated mod installer is everything that is enough, or I should keep some old files, such as GMDX9 and initial GMDX10?

I have a minor gripe; I have mantling onto objects enabled in the settings, but pressing space in the air, next to a waist-high object doesn't do anything, unlike with v9. Can't climb stuff like before, not sure why.

Quick question, when choosing options during the first-time configurator, should I select DX9 or 10? I appreciate DX9 says 'recommended' though I'm seeing less than 60fps in a number of situations.
MessageLog:"Sub 60 FPS is standard for most versions of GMDX to experience on liberty island and battery park due to extreme amounts of trees with polygon count that is excessive. Turning off New Vision may help somewhat but many trees have been disabled automatically to reduce this effect."

I have the escaped the first MJ12 and Versalife visits. I have uploaded the ROM of the Dragon Tooth sword. My quest log says to cement the alliance between the Luminous Path and the Red Arrow. Only Max Chen is there, who says that there will be a truce. If I go to Tracer Tong, he tells me to go to the temple. The Luminous Path leader is missing. There is just the monk and Chen. The expected cutscene otherwise does not play.
I am using the latest GMDXv10 mod and encountered this issue. May be a potential bug related to the mod--or bad luck.
Is there a way to progress this quest via console command?
