Fragfield was a fairly old idea I'd had. Ever since playing LAN matches with a friend we'd come to realize that while Battlefield 1942 offered potential for very large-scale, expansive fights, sometimes that drew the action out too much. This mod aims to provide fun, concentrated, intense matches for small to medium numbers of players.
The mod features new maps, reworked sound effects, adjusted weapon damage, and health regeneration, among many other tweaks to gameplay. Full Coop support is included on all the new maps in case you don't have enough human players to fill in or you want to practice on your own.
And once more, I have finally decided to stop playtesting, biting my nails and hoping there's no bugs I've missed, and just release the mod.
I decided to do a bit of a tally in regards to what I'd added. Turns out I'd more than doubled the amount of weapons and maps available, so that should keep players busy for a while.
I've got quite a few people to thank this time around. It would be quite the essay if I was to talk about the exploits of each and every person, so I'll simply have to direct you to the credits section in the readme or the credits tab ingame. However, I would like to say a big thankyou to the [GoD] clan for numerous testing runs, and Herc for teaching me a lot about 3D modeling, which he happens to be absolutely awesome at.
Anyway, scoot over to the downloads section and get your hands on the latest version of the mod. If you're into the mapping business, you may also want to pick up the mapping aids which include files for Battlecraft 42 and the Photoshop template I use for my loading screens.
Do you have an explosive personality? Fragfield now has just the weapon for you!
The little goodies you'll find lurking around the maps, if you can find them...
Battlecraft files and a loading screen template for the benefit of anyone who wants to make maps.
A manual install file (no .exe) for Mac users or people who prefer to install mods manually.
This is the .exe installer for version 0.2 of Fragfield.
The .lst and .cfg files for making FragField maps in Battlecraft 42.
The .exe installer for Version 0.1 of FragField for Battlefield 1942.

wow by watching ya video it looks more like a zombie mod all you gotta do is chnage the nazi models and skins and ya almost done. edit the knife model so its really small (but still there) and then you got your self the animation of a zombie swing... your could play both sides too, great for LAN and WAN i really like the blood effects and the new sounds really adds to the feeling also the map was pretty cool too.
