After playing this mod for quite a time, i just can't bare anymore with how unbalanced it is. The CIS has better and more powerful units in every tier the only competitive unit the Republic has is the venator Also, the amount of fighters that capital ships launch to battle is ridiculous. It reaches a point where there are so many fighters they become irrelevant. While this may be a more accurate depiction of real battles, I rather enjoy the micromanagement of fighters. Not just that, but the amount of fighters the CIS release is much higher than the republic (which is indeed accurate), but if you add to those CIS fighters the buzz-droids, there is no point at all for the republic to release fighters, they are destroyed almost instantly in battles. In this mod i will upload modified XML files that will be able to be downloaded individually, so each can choose what to download I will begin with space units, which are easier to balance, and then move to land units

Ok, so i decided to increase the squadron size of vulture droids to 12. This works correctly. But before i upload the new file, i decided to add the lock s-foils ability to them. This has been partially successful. For some reason the CIS now spawns 4 vulture droid squadrons in space skirmish. I'll debug this and upload the file later
I've also decided to reduce the number of destroyer droids per team, probably will keep it at 5 or 6.
now onto the big thing
capital ships (hah, get it?)

im thinking of changing them so you are able to build them only on kuat, mandalore, mon calamari, etc (same as with capital ships in vanila EAW/FOC)

This includes Providence, Lucrehulk, venator, victory class,


the problem is, having the venator not being buildable in most planets its a huge disadvantage for republic at tech level 5, since the CIS has more and bigger ships

however it would feel unfair if the republic could build venators everywhere but the CIS could only build providence and lucrehulks (maybe having just the lucrehulk buidable in certain planets wouldnt be so unfair) i certain places

what are your thoughts?

If I am ever to download this for my Republic at war, I would like it if you would bundle up all the fixed stuff as one so I don't have to download so much! Also fix please the money, crazy how I have to spend 70000 for the pride of the core.

In the vanilla RAW, I didn't had much problems with the CIS fighters overwhelming. I focus on the hangars and the engines, this makes most of the ships useless. I also build a lot corvettes to protect my capital ships. I'm ignoring my fighters, as the modder said they are practically useless. It is harder at the start, until tech 4 the game is pain in the balls. But I prefer to build on the planets, that allow me to build the planetary cannon. Basically they cannot take your planet once you get that, it one shots every ship and it takes 15 secs to recharge.

Quick Tip, don't use the acclamator-class, sell them all at the start. It's the most useless ship in the mod.

The star destroyers are only exclusive to fall of the jedi campaign when at the certain point there is a cutscene showing order 66,then shortly after 3 star destroyers will appear in Coruscant in which you get to control but you cannot construct any in the GC fall of the jedi. Dude seriously these ships are in the Galactic Civil War. It wouldn't make any sense if they were in other campaigns because they are in the Clone Wars era. In skirmish, it only exists in custom maps in which there is a special platform near your space station.
