After playing this mod for quite a time, i just can't bare anymore with how unbalanced it is. The CIS has better and more powerful units in every tier the only competitive unit the Republic has is the venator Also, the amount of fighters that capital ships launch to battle is ridiculous. It reaches a point where there are so many fighters they become irrelevant. While this may be a more accurate depiction of real battles, I rather enjoy the micromanagement of fighters. Not just that, but the amount of fighters the CIS release is much higher than the republic (which is indeed accurate), but if you add to those CIS fighters the buzz-droids, there is no point at all for the republic to release fighters, they are destroyed almost instantly in battles. In this mod i will upload modified XML files that will be able to be downloaded individually, so each can choose what to download I will begin with space units, which are easier to balance, and then move to land units

I repeat this is just a rebalance

If you guys have suggestions, feel free to post them here
what i've done so far is tweak the number of fighters each capital launches
and remove the buzz droid ability from vulture fighters
as said, i will upload files individually so you can download what you want

something else i have in mind is to change he weaponry on the acclamator

it doesn't have any turbolaser battery, which leaves it severely under-powered against ships of its tier. I'll also look into boosting its shield, or adding a surprise ability not yet seen on this mod... stay tuned for it

Also, I'll try to include the unreleased Victoria-class frigate

While searching for XMLs i noticed the files for the frigate are there, it's just that you can't buy it in-game, dunno why

Changing the Acclamator is a good idea. I've done it in my own copy of the mod, changing it to 4 turbolasers, 8 lasercannons, and 2 torpedo launchers and adding a squadron bombers. The lasers I added are used good against fighters, but are not as accurate as the lasers from a corvette. And the Acclamator does have turbolasers, it's just for some reason they're named lasercannons.

Yeah the acclamator is in a weird spot in the "vanilla mod" (what an oxymoron). Its supposed to be the main republic transport/escort/support frigate, yet it's severy underpowered compared to the munificent, it's CIS counterpart. It's not like i want to make it into an all-powerful frigate capable of vaporizing entire fleets, but 1 acclamator vs 1 munificent, the munificent doesnt even get its sield down if the acclamator doesnt activate the power to shields
i added a bomber squadron too before checking here lol
it gives it a better chance against ships it size

a serious nerf to the repair droids the cis have, they just repair too much, play vanilla raw and get a spider droid damaged, send a repair droid next to it and see the bar healed

i would need to nerf the republic commandos and the republic healer bot too
i dont see them unbalanced, they are all just too OP
