Elite's Conflict Mod v1.2 is a work in progress but the demo will be released in fall 2018.
Elite's Conflict Mod v1.2 Closed Gamma released in February 2017. For this release we received more feedback which allowed us to polish off content for the full v1.2 release. The primary difference with Gamma is new models and textures however, we will continue to critique balance and add even more content to the game. Access to this version was only given to a select group of dedicated and experienced players.
Elite's Conflict Mod v1.2 Beta released in August 2016. It featured new maps, units, and planets as well as a ton of bug and balance updates. Massive amounts of feedback from the community and the expansion of our mod team after this release has allowed us to develop many aspects of this game that previously would have been impossible to work on.
Elite's Conflict Mod v1.1 released in early June 2016. Our goal for v1.1 was to have the fans play the game and submit feedback, giving us the opportunity to fix any issues we didn't find prior to release. It also allowed us to finish extra content that wasn't quite ready for the previous release. We want to say thank you to all of the fans who commented or messaged us about what they would like to see or any problems they had.
Elite's Conflict Mod v1.0 released in early May 2016 and was a success. We accomplished many of our goals and learned a lot from a smooth release and this great community. We created a new balance system and awesome mechanics, added more lore and new units, new music compositions, updated descriptions and names, created a recolored user interface, new planets and maps, and a lot more to an aging game. We are happy with the achievements we've made but we continue to strive for perfection for our fans and for ourselves.

The amount of credits required for tech research is too much.
Hello Elite,I played your mod.It is awsome.I like the ISD2 model.
I discover a weird thing
When I am playing. There are strange lights under the birdge of the ISD2(On both sides of its Bridge-Hull connection, the neck of the SD).The light was particularly clear when we looked ahead at The ISD.
Is it a bug?Can you fix it?please!!!
Looking forward to the next release.

Is this mod out?
I really like the idea of making every ship count.
A few suggestions:
Ships should be expensive. Maybe 15-25000 for a star destroyer.
Don’t give everyone thousands of fighters. They should be limited.
Give the rebellion the wings and the empire the ties.
The x wing should be far superior to the tie fighter so tactics can play a role.
If you want a fighter that can keep up with the x wing you have to build the tie defender as the empire.
Set the unit capacity to 20, with that you don’t always have big battles in the rebellion era.
Give ships theirs tasks.
Capital ships should only be good to destroy other capital ships.
Frigates should only be good at destroying fighter support and smaller ships.
Fighters should only be good to destroy other fighters and bombers.
Bomber should only be good to destroy hard points and should completely suck against fighters and screening ships.
Also don’t make small ships completely useless.
Make small ships so fast that capital ships have some problems to hit them.
Reduce the turning rate of the Turbolader for capital ships so outflanking is a thing.
The rebellion could have some multi function roles.
Is there any option to make the rebellion steal some ships?
The rebellion should get smaller victory conditions like: secure the core/ outorrim. Kill every imperial leader.
Make more Rebell and crime cells for the empire to fight.
Ship yards/ mining facilitys/vehicle factorys/ barracks should be limited to a few planets so, again, tactic actually matters.
Make cross points on the map, split it in sections to secure.
The rebellion should be able to use hit and run tactics. No engine hard point can be a good start. So the interdictor is a high priority target when it arrives.
I will download the mod today and write a small review:)
Will there be a ISD class I there? That fits with the ISD II model?
'guest' here again (Cannot be arsed to log into so many accounts across so many platforms) I'm eagerly awaiting news of release or the release itself, lurking around both here and in the steam page for any sign of it
'Guest',
Our discord has daily updates. But things are progressing well right now, we have a few more things to finish up and the Demo will be released. We'll post a release date a few days beforehand. :)

How does it work with steam? Does it lag alot or crash at some points?
Dj.Darling,
So far, I'm proud to say no reports of either.
