EPISODE INFORMATION

  • New episode containing about 10 to 12 maps.
  • Singleplayer only.
  • Much more focused on exploration than fast-paced gaming.
  • Some new art. Some modified art to refresh the player's mood.
  • No new elements (new enemies, weapons, etc.) that require engine modifications.
  • Elaborate storyline: The real Lo Wang, forgotten by the world and living the rest of his life in the countryside (incidentally, a pseudo-Lo Wang with a boring sense is out there somewhere), receives a call to rescue some young men who attempted a reckless invasion of a small island in the east where Zilla is building a base. He sets off by himself to the island (the game begins here). The rescue mission soon fails, and Lo Wang is back to his usual carnage for his own survival (and for his own amusement) ...that's all I have to say.

This is my first map and therefore my first episode. It's amateurish, personal, weird, unfinished, and buggy, but if a few gamers can enjoy it with a grin on their face, it's a success for me. While whipping my old body with presbyopia, I hope to complete it within six months...at the latest.

Note: I apologize for so many strange descriptions as my English is not good at all.

Hello!

It has taken me quite a while to fix level5. There are some weird bugs with unknown causes. Maybe I'll put it off for later...

By the way, in my mod I have considerably increased the types of objects and walls that can be broken to make it more immersive for the player. I also modified the original art files for some weird effects. It is not very realistic, but I tried to give players a satisfaction by destroying them.

I like the new death animations you are adding, would it be possible to have them and the vanilla ones too play randomly? That would be awesome for variety.

Especially if you release an addon so you can have those animations in the original game as well.

Add-on for the original game........
I'll consider it once this episode is successfully completed. It's impossible to make it random, SW doesn't have many mods unlike Duke3D or Blood, right? The reason is that you can't modify it freely. So my mods only do what the original game can do, with the exception of skybox........
Thank you!

Well, it wasn't that popular. But I love the original 3D Realms' style, and each game is unforgettable. Thanks!

Which level editor do you use for Shadow Warrior 1997? The original DOS one?

No, I have not touched the Dos version. I don't know much about editor, but I use Mapster32 (SWMapster32?) with "SWScriptset for Mapster32".

I found it on the duke4.net forum. I don't know if I can post a direct link to the file, so here is the URL.
