EPISODE INFORMATION

  • New episode containing about 8 to 10 maps.
  • Singleplayer only.
  • Much more focused on exploration than fast-paced gaming.
  • Some new art. Some modified art to refresh the player's mood.
  • No new elements (new enemies, weapons, etc.) that require engine modifications.
  • Elaborate storyline: The real Lo Wang, forgotten by the world and living the rest of his life in the countryside (incidentally, a pseudo-Lo Wang with a boring sense is out there somewhere), receives a call to rescue some young men who attempted a reckless invasion of a small island in the east where Zilla is building a base. He sets off by himself to the island (the game begins here). The rescue mission soon fails, and Lo Wang is back to his usual carnage for his own survival (and for his own amusement) ...that's all I have to say.

This is my first map and therefore my first episode. It's amateurish, personal, weird, unfinished, and buggy, but if a few gamers can enjoy it with a grin on their face, it's a success for me. While whipping my old body with presbyopia, I hope to complete it within six months...at the latest.

Note: I apologize for so many strange descriptions as my English is not good at all.

I uploaded a video of the play as I recorded it yesterday while playing the test. I'm not used to video editing and it's tedious, so I've left it mostly unedited. Sorry it's so long.


Progress is still slow because I haven't been able to get a lot of time together.

I'm still working on level 2 again, and it's depressing how much patience I have to put in to sort out the ST1 tags. It's a slow and repetitive process.

I've been working on a major rework of level 2 mainly for the past week or so. It's like fixing it to make it reasonably playable level.

this is very impressive! is the "Mapster32 (SWScriptset for Mapster32)" the same thing as "SWMapster32"? i've been having loads of weird problems trying to make custom levels on my modern pc using Dosbox. ive run into problems with both Build.exe and SWMapster32. for example: in the original Build.exe if i try to resize textures using the numpad it resizes it in incrememnts so large that I cannot achieve any accuracy. another issue i have is when using SWMapster32 I can't figure out how to set any tag from tag3 up. ive tried doing what all the guides and instructions say to do to achieve setting those tags and it wont work for me. it just seems to change the sprite view mode in 2d(toggles if sprite shows up as just a dot or also shows hitag and lotag etc.

You can find out more about "SWScriptset" by googling it. However, SWMapster32 is sufficient for map editing, and SWMapster32 works fine on my crappy Win10 64bit PC. Why use DOSbox? It should work on windows. In any case, I think the difficulty level of map making for SW is quite HIGH due to the lack of information. It's almost an forgotten game... I'm sick and tired of not knowing so many things! (lol)

The mod should work with SW Classic, but it has not been tested enough. I test play my mod with SW Classic & BuildGDX all the time and it works fine. However, this mod is packed with many effects and events, so it should be heavyweight among SW user maps.
