|||||What is the purpose of this mod?|||||:
With this mod activated you will be able to play as Altair, relive more Altair memories which were not shown in Revelations. Basically it's just
a retexture (no scripts or dialogues changed).
|||||How to play it ?|||||:
After you launch Assassin's Creed Revelations with my mod(and use a save game file I included) you will start your game with Altair in Masyaf.
You will be equipped with Altair's sword, dual hidden blades, throwing knives and poison darts (no bullets because Altair did not invent them
until he was very old). From there you have to launch menu (escape button by default) and then press dna option to replay memories. All memories
will be unlocked if you used my save file. You will see that the memory pictures are different. Memories with red X means they are not playable
for Altair and are simply the memories of Ezio. The avaible memories will have new pictures and short description with the year it took place in
Altair's life and location and description what happened in certain memory.
The thing is you have to use your imagination a bit. If you play memory in Mongolia for example you must think you're playing a memory in mongolia
because certain characters will call you Ezio which is weird.
I did not use my imagination to make those Altair memories. They are original events that occured in Altair's life based on Assassin's Creed Wikia
and the book "The secret crusade" with exception of sequence 1 which I made myself.
This mod add following features :
- Fully playable Altair with original Altair face texture from Revelations
- Altair's short blade is now visible on Altair's back
- New dna pictures with description what happened in Altair's life in those memories
- Dilara is changed to Maria Thorpe
- Ezio is changed to Altair
- Yusuf is changed to Qulan Gal
- Manuel Paleologos is now Genghis Khan
- Templars are now crusader templars
- Constantinopole soldiers are now Mongols
- Altair old robe is now brown like in fourth Altair memory
And a lot more !
|||||How to install ?|||||:
Well this part is difficult. Mostly because Asssassin's Creed Revelations does not support texmod anymore like previous games. I added opentexmod which is successor of original texmod. It's a google code and it has the same abilities of texture injection as texmod. I can say it will definitely work with
skidrow version (cracked) but I don't recommend it, better support the game and BUY IT. Installation manual is in mod package both text and graphic versions.

How did you removed the beard? I thought Texmod only mod textures not models

I have the Ezio Janissary data but don't how to convert it to tpf format or so..
is there a way just to have altair'f face for the ezio and the other rest of the characters have their original texture?

Well done!Good Job!The mod works perfectly on my copy of the game.(I use the original version of the game not a cracked version).
All the images,descriptions and textures are functioning properly.
I still have one problem.In the readme file in the 'Altair save'folder,it says that I have to place the save files in some particular location to access full features.(Altair's sword,free roam in Masyaf)I have placed the files but I did not receive full features.I may have done a mistake.
Please post a solution or the accurate place I should keep the files.
Unfortunately, not working with my skidrow copy, tried many times in vain to run the game using the Texmod.exe :(
Use opentexmod instead it will work.
