Allied Generals Shattered Alliance (AGSA) is a total conversion modification for Red Alert 2 - Yuri's Revenge using Ares and Phobos engine extension tools.
Feared by Soviet tank crews in the last Great War, the Apache was an attack helicopter that specialized in the destruction of ground armor and structures with Hellfire missiles. It arrived late in the war as the Apache was an American export model.
Following the end of this conflict, the Allied nations decided that they had to build their own indigenous attack helicopter.
The Apache fleet was thus scheduled to be mothballed by the Allies but advocates of the Apache programme insisted that reserve units be kept for future conflicts. Thus the Apache ‘Guardian’ for deployment by Close Air Support (C.A.S) teams was born.
Improvements include significant systems redundancy to improve combat survivability. The Hellfire missiles have been replaced with advanced Griffin missiles which can target ground and air-based targets. The Apache is also equipped with a 30mm chaingun for engaging enemy infantry. Should the Apache require reloading, it can fire this chaingun on armored targets as well.
The Apache can only be built by authorized C.A.S branch commanders. Whilst the Valkyrie is designed for consistent damage over time, the Apache excels at dealing burst damage with four Griffin missiles. The 30mm chaingun can then mop up infantry and survivors.
This makes it ideal for hit and run, ambush style assaults on armored ground forces, low flying aircraft and lightly armored structures. It can also slowly self repair to 100% health whilst other armored units can at most repair 50% of their max health.
