Wanshan (ten thousand mountains) is a specialist support vehicle used by the PRA. The Wanshan Special Vehicle Factory is in Wuhan, Hubei province. It is responsible for producing various supply trucks and heavy trailers. This facility has produced various experimental vehicles including the discontinued ‘Iron Guard’ and ‘Golden Shield’.
The Wanshan is equipped with a molecular distortion device which is based on the principles of iron curtain technology. By resonating molecules under certain frequencies, the structural stability of friendly armor can be improved whilst simultaneously destabilizing the structural integrity of enemy vehicles. To achieve this effect, the Wanshan must remain stationary as it takes time for the Wanshan to calibrate its targeting array. To improve its survivability on the battlefield, the Wanshan can quickly deploy flotation gear for amphibious travel.
When the Wanshan is stationary and near friendly or enemy armor it will emit an aura around itself. Friendly armor within its radius will become more resistant to damage whilst enemy armor will become less resistant to damage. Aircraft and certain ground vehicles are unaffected by the aura. As the Wanshan is an amphibious vehicle it can support friendly naval forces as well.
