It is with great remorse that we announce that due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, the long awaited expansion for A Random Day at Black Mesa, Project UV, has been cancelled.
On October 31st, at around 10PM, the Project UV mod page was made live without the knowledge of Team UV. (Shapey and I) Within 5 hours, Shapey took back control and archived the mod, letting anybody he can know that the project was far from ready to be posted. Within 6 hours after the archival, the ModDB staff completely deleted the Project UV page, thankfully containing the situation before it got out of control. Needless to say, any future expansions on ARDaBM are cancelled.
Although it is unknown which member of Team UV had their account compromised, Shapey and I have both changed our passwords and will be cooperating with ModDB to determine which account was compromised and when.
We thank you all for watching this mod over the last 5 years, and we hope you were at least interested in it, whether it be out of love or spite.

I've never liked this mod honestly
After all, it's just a typical Crack-Life clone
and it doesn't help the fact that this mod is way too big for no reason (Over 1 GB, like wtf?)
In contrast, Crack-Life Anniversary's size is only 240 MB when extracted

It intrigues me that even after the deadline this is still at a relatively high popularity rating right now.
For any newcomers who didn't bother reading the article, worry not about new additions because this project is dead. I realize it's no longer worth my time to work on this mess of a mod, and some of the community members here are already reinforcing that point to death. Nevertheless, thank you for at least looking at it.
With the probability of getting called a 13 year old, i still enjoyed your mod, many people don't realise that this is made for the sole purpose of getting a few laughs out of you, to
make you have some fun, to stray from the serious story of half life, i don't even understand why people come here just to leave "hate" messages, while it's made very clear from the description, and the banner, and the name that this is not supposed to be anything top tier. I enjoyed crack-life and i enjoyed this one too.
