This mod changes, and fixes some of the mispositioned graphics in the graphic user interface of BioShock: Remastered.
Hey everybody! I am back again, and excited to release version 1.4 of a GUI Mod for BioShock: Remastered.
I want to give a big thank you for the overwhelming positive reception I've received within the last few years. It has been an honor to have helped polish this great game we are all fans of, and I can't fully express my gratitude. I hope this update will be worth the long wait.
As for future plans, I do intend to release at least a couple more of these “smaller” updates before considering this mod complete. I am also looking for an artist who is capable of re-drawing, and creating new UI for a possible future update. If this sounds like you, or someone you know, please let me know, and maybe we collaborate within the next update.
I want to give another big thank you to RESENTMENT, ta de hack, and cRVD_12 for their creative input, and play-testing!
Small fixes
- Challenge Room Difficulty survivor selector fixed
- Removal of Adam and Money Counter appearance when exiting the Golden Reels menu
- Re-position of Golden Reels Menu back button to be consistent with the other menus
- Difficulty Screen multiple selector bug fixed

Hi, thanks for this amazing mod. Is there an update coming with smaller crosshairs?
If yes, will it also be possible to have PS button icons in-game? The current solution on Nexus has a dependency which is incompatible with this mod
Hey there! I am currently working on other projects, but if you'd like I could reduce the crosshair sizes, and provide the files for you. I could add the PS buttons too, as they are already in the files, but simply need to replace the Xbox ones in order to work properly. Let me know, and thank you for your comment :)
hi, great fixes. what is different between this one (https://www.nexusmods.com/bioshock/mods/5) and yours? i see that he mentioned your name on his page but yours is more updated than his. thanks!
Hello! Thank you for your comment!
I haven't kept up with WEQRT's mod since it's initial release in early 2019. However, we both address some of the same issues, and others different. So it's a matter of personal preference :)
he has a couple of other fiexes in separte mods like the one that shrinks crosshairs, to be used with his main gui fix mod judging by the comments. is it ok to do that on top of this one? its this (https://www.nexusmods.com/bioshock/mods/24) modifies sharedlibrary.swf. i apologize, just trying to make my THIRD playthrough of bioshock perfected : D what do you use to open and edit the swf files?
Hello again!
Unfortunately, the mods are not compatible with each other. If you want the weapon crosshairs smaller, I could do this for you, and send you the files. To open, and edit .SWF files, use the JPEX FF Decompiler program.
It would be appreciated for sure, but the information on what program used will suffice as well. It will give me something to play around with on my days off X D Thanks a lot!
Okay sounds good. Let me know if you ever want smaller crosshairs, and I can do this for you :)
