Description

(The model is based on the modified chassis of Mig Eater's MLRS)
The Crotale short range air-defense missile is the French naval and land based air defense system.
In the latter model of the Crotale, the Crotale NG, the system is capable of tracking targets at range of 30km. In the latest model, the Crotale Mk.3, the system's missile can reach a max range of 16km, a ceiling of 9000m, at mach 3.5. The missile carries a 13kg warhead with a kill zone of 8m.

Each launch vehicle can carry a missile load of 8, a electro-optical target-finder, an infra-red search and track system, and a surveillance radar. Combined with the external Shikra radar, the Crotale Mk.3 system can also receive an early warning of inbound targets, with the target still 150km away from the early warning radar.
