still Q1 was in part inspired by HPL :) however gameplay is more like they hunger than quake indeed.

well, isn't there a bit of survival horror? you can obtain some weapons rather quickly and otherwise run away from them if too many are attacking at once
interesting, wondering what's the story behind this, some new parasite/tech other than crabs turning people into zombies?
good idea about the optional serious sam amount of enemies setting! i found such crowds to slaughter a bit tedious in Strider Mountain despite the mod being good otherwise. anyway, is this intended to be unofficial hl2ep3? e.g. picking up where ep2 left, or isn't it that closely related to the official storyline?
get the download link fixed. the one provided doesn't work for me. weird you cannot download it through steam either, there is a steam page for it after all
have they included full support for dynamic lighting and shadowing yet, then? you know, doom 3 and f.e.a.r. already had it 5+ years ago and the most source could do with the latest orange box update was some lousy shadows if i shine a flashlight on something...
honorable mention is all BM deserves after a year of devs ignoring fans... if it's even worth that. and the fact that people troll its forums or moddb with hoaxes or other retarded stuff doesn't excuse not giving actual fans any info about progress for a year. trolls always were and sadly will always be infesting such communities, if you are in the mod scene, just deal with it. it's a free mod so demanding anything is pointless, but disappointment remains.
"410 - Gone" - seriously, wtf?
why don't they delete its moddb page then? anyone who really cares will follow anyway.
i thought DNF was cancelled after most of 3D Realms crew was sacked for slacking off for several years or something... but seriously, afaik the only game they made themselves after DN3D was Shadow Warrior, and that was in the 90s. and later their name was stuck on several titles to keep the company afloat. great job.
why are all these odd replies under my comment? something's seriously broken @ moddb...
so how about a patch to fix compatibility issues with older mods, suckers? too busy snatching money from mac fanboys now, eh?
yeah, it's all about getting mac fanboys' money now, who cares about backwards compatibility :P thanks a lot for fixing this.
looks like he's having a bad hangover
everything's alright man, the doctor will arrive soon.
i hope one will have a flashlight in that game, with batteries better than in Afraid of Monsters :D
oh well, i hope it won't become Black Mesa Forever ;) happy holidays, everyone.
i guess popularity among mappers is the best measure of a doom port's strength. nevertheless this looks worth looking into.
ingenious classic, no sarcasm on my part there :) and in ~3 years it's two decades old
i guess, besides engine-specific issues, it depends on optimization on developers' part.
the Nehahra mod itself was pretty cool too btw. wonder what happened to that stuff, there was some info about the project not being dead, now the page is nowhere to be found :/
i prefer it on my pc anytime, but as a proof of concept feat it's pretty awesome i must say.
