heXen:Edge of Chaos will be a new and free game, based on the original Hexen game which was developed by id Software and Raven Software. Edge of Chaos is being developed by a team of fans who have always loved the original Hexen since it came out. In fact, most of us spent countless hours with the entire series. When id Software released Doom3, we immediately saw immense potential in the engine itself; the 'Hell' maps gave us the inspiration to make a hack-and-slash game based, primarily, on the original Hexen.

I love funky shrooms as much as the next guy, but... shouldn't you be trying to build your maps before worrying about stuff like flora and fauna?
Surely some of you are aware of the risky business that are mushrooms in Hexen ;). Those aren't just ordinary map clutter.
Is this mod made in the spirit of hexen 2 or in the spirit of hexen 1?
Hexen 1 I hope, Hexen 2 was not as good...
More gameplay features for the game would be most welcome, the one thing that the series kinda lacked was in-depth gameplay. :-)
yeah more rpg-esque stuff would be nice
no rpg-esque stuff, that was more hexen 2. There will be no level building or experience. This game is more in spirit of hexen 1.
