Why does the Empire not have a family tree? It is my favorite aspect of any total war game.

I wiuld mod this myself if I knew how.

Oh. OH! So that was the thing. I was just stuck looking at the Imperial City and crying without checking the other settlements. :P\
Thanks for the headsup.

I have the latest version without EoP.
I can't seem to be able to recruit cavalry as the Empire. I have deleted all map.rwm files, and started a new game. The problem persists. I also can't seem to build stables and archery ranges.

Go to descr_strat for both campaigns, and deleted the ";" from the free fort upkeep line.

So instead of ;fort-free-upkeep it should be simply fort-free-upkeep, or however it is spelled in the files.

You can also edit and increase the number of free upkeep slots. At first I used 10, which was too OP, so I went back to 5. Hope this helps.

I have a problem. I have the latest version of the mod, the King and Crusader. Anyway, I wanted to play as Cyrodiil in the Fourth Era, and I can't seem to be able to recruit cavalry. I deleted the map.rwm file, but the bug persists. How do I fix this?

Why did you remove the free upkeep of units in forts?

Couldn't you make many more ancillaries for the HoF (city elf, dalish, mage, dwarf) and have them be random? Or better yet a pop-up at the beginning of the game that let's us choose? A series of yes yes no pop-ups would really be a good idea for the mod. Pretty please! :D

Will Alienages be present in the game? I was thinking maybe a building with an appropriate percentage of elven culture, and the ability to recruit elven levies.

I imagine that it's for balance and importance for faction settlements, both AI and player.

Aren't all Griffon and Double-Headed Griffon sigils inspired by the Byzantines?

Awesome. But which is which? Some are obvious, but others are not (didn't play Inquisition yet, so I have no idea which banner corresponds to which faction, even though I've spoiled myself a lot when it comes to the plot).

Sorry for the late reply.

Thank you for answering my questions. Awesome mod from awesome mod creators. I love you guys.

I don't want to seem silly, bothering you and asking for more details, but... :D... will the Dalish be able to go horde? I would love to abandon all of my settlements except the capital, after I've recruited a few troops, conquer Halamshiral, move my capital there, abandon my capital, use the funds from destroying the buildings in my abandoned settlements to build up my economy and armies, and then declare war on Orlais and the Chantry.

Will the Dalish be able to have troop scripts, receiving additional Alienage conscripts if the campaign is going well, and losing troops if the campaign is going badly, ala The Elves are leaving or returning to Middle Earth scripts from the Third Age Total War campaign, for the High Elves faction? Or is that too much to ask? I would love to know that my flat-ear brethren would be saved from the clutches of the shemlen. ^_^

Will the Grey Wardens have elven and dwarven members, or are all the models human? What about female soldiers and commanders, agents and retinue?

Will certain factions be hordes? I imagine that the Dalish, Chasind, Avvar, Darkspawn and a few other factions should be able to form hordes.

Do the Dalish have settlements?

Will the Grey Wardens have agents like the imam in vanilla that will be able to call on "Exalted Marches" against Darkspawn? And will the AI actually be lore-friendly? While silly and fun, it would be odd to see the Grey Wardens allying with the Darkspawn against the Anderfels, or Tevinter and the Qun allying to attack Ferelden.

It's intentional. But it's supposed to be that a year has twelve turns, 11 in summer (harcoded) and 1 in winter to mark the new year. Morning Star (January) is the the coldest month, the middle of winter. Maybe it's a bug on your part, but I never experienced this.

The only way to survive as the empire is to betray and conquer or conquer the traitor factions and spawn merchants. With Cyrodiil, Skyrim, High Rock, Hammerfell and a horde of merchants you can wield 20+ full stacks (a proper legion) by the time the Invasion starts. I beat the Daedra in 3 to 5 turns by just moving my troops and outnumbering them 2:1. Also, use mages, they deal a lot of damage. By the end I also conquered Valenwood as well. You have to be aggressive and prepare for it. It's not metagaming, the Emperor saw the crisis coming a mile away in his dreams.

They spawn near Kvatch and Ald'rhun (obviusly), south of Thormar, near Silgrad, near Gauvadon, Dak'fron and Dawnstar.

They're following the GRRM style of releasing new content. Give it a few more years.
