Neat mod.
Although I still prefer the belt-feed action of MMOD for the AR2. I hope you'd reconsider that.
I'm still waiting on the AK47 and OICW.
I think the MP7 needs improvements, like extending the stock, and having a larger underbarrel and pumping.
I actually prefer the weapon-pack on the Sven-Coop. The low-capacity of Double-Barrel, and the M1911 feels more at home in a horror game.

I think the least you could have done is just loaded HL1 retail maps, replaced some places there, and just replaced the texture.

Could you also make it so that you can play Black Mesa -- the HL1 storyline with the new weapons? That would be neat, especially the M249.

City 17 really looks and feels immersive the moment I dropped in.
But the problem there is that there's not a lot of indication where I SHOULD go. I just pressed on forward and eventually got to the loading screen.
I think some more polishing should be done with the maps.
Does this have the Opposing Force M249? Because that would be neat.

Now it works, but not sure if it works. I can't even figure how to compile. When I try to replace items, it just says "Invalid name".

I think i'd rather wait for the remastered core.mw4 you have. I can't even compile the core for some reason. Says that the items with {gamedata} has invalid name.
I actually just based the lasers on the current balance in the remaster. But I think I could reduce the damage -- not sure to an extent, but you might have to recompile again.

It's actually the resFile.txt that already came with the Ultimate Tools. Of course I only looked at the speed there.
I instead jot down the stats from the game directly. Based on the tutorial, some values are actually different, the heat should actually be half. Etc.
Like I said i can't operate the jar file to compile it at all. Because console keeps saying "Unable to access jarfile".
EDIT:
I thought of just editing it from there, but I think the values are actually different from base. The ER Large Laser is at 7.5 damage on the included res-file, but the actual in game damage is 9.5.

I already extracted the weapons and weaponsubsystems folders.
The "unable to access" happens with "java -jar mw4weaponBalancer.jar" alone, isn't that there supposed to be help info?
Is there any chance you can just make the balancing act for me? I could just make a quick spreadsheet. It's just values for the 1.6 Remaster core.

I see. Well i still can't the jar file. I have JRE8 installed, but still nothing.
I swear, there's only:
- Manual.txt
- mw4weaponBalancer.Jar
- resFile.txt
- statFile.txt
- weaponblanc.txt
There's no such thing in the Weapons editor folder.
It keeps saying unable to access mw4weaponbalancer.jar
Also WeaponBalancer_1.0 is missing.
I can't modify the weapons even with Java.
I think it has to be updated to use the JRE 8.
I cannot switch to them even if I get them.
