I wanted to say that this is my all time favorite Quake map.
I was disappointed about Quake Champions being an online only live service game and I saw some screenshots of Grendel's Blade on reddit somewhere and that's how I found out about Arcane Dimensions. I was blown away by Arcane Dimensions.

I love the aesthetics the atmosphere and the combat encounters in Grendel's Blade. There's so much attention to detail it's unbelievable.

Have the latest Icepick version, still crashes. Seems it's unable to load the text files in the "aisettings" folder.

Weird. I've tried it with all the Icepick versions I could find and the result is the same. Always crashes on "npc_pilot_soldier_stalker" .

As a fan of the original REARM for Homeworld 2 I've been following this project here and on the Gearbox forums since about 2016.

Would it be possible to have preview / alpha release of the uncompleted mod as it is right now ?

Don't get me wrong this mod is looking fantastic and considering the original REARM it will for sure play very well.

However from a planning / release point of view I liked much more how Complex did intermediary releases of their mod so we don't have to wait 5 years for it to be completed before we have a chance of playing it.

If the author has a Patreon I would also be willing to support the development as I've done with Complex over the years. I bet I'm not the only one who would support it.

What good is it to look at screenshots for all these years if no one really gets to play it ?

I'm not attacking the author, life is difficult and it always comes first, but it would be better in my opinion to have a chance to try out the mod even if it's not yet complete.

May I ask how did you manage to generate the nav files ? Is there any automated waypoint generator in the game?

Like I've said, fantastic work. It brings Q2RTX to a whole new level. It looks like a professional remaster now. Even with your optimized pipeline it must be very time consuming.

Really enjoyed reading your series and it looks like it will be the best way to play Arcane Dimensions in 2019 and beyond.

I already played Arcane Dimensions on the FTE engine with good results so I'm really anticipating to try out this build of Epsilon !

This is so much better than the original in terms of how the weapons feel that I can't play the original anymore.

Would it be possible to run the Arcane Dimensions levels with the weapons in Quake 1.5 ? That would be phenomenal.

First of all thank you very much for your awesome work ! I love this mod.

One question. Given that there are 64-bit binaries of CoP out there, would it be possible to compile / port the mod to use 64 bit ?

This mod only crashes because it reaches the maximum amount of memory that a 32 bit process can access on a 64 bit OS (even with the /LARGEADDRESSAWARE switch enabled the theoretical limit is 4GB maximum, with the practical limit usually lower).

Given the very high quality assets that this mod has and the fact that most gaming systems today have at least 8GB of RAM, it would be a huge step in the right direction.

Dezowave could take the example of the Black Mesa Source remake and put Lost Alpha DC on Steam for sale once it's done. They deserve to get some recognition for their effort. Just my opinion.

Just wanted to say..AMAZING game...:)

Two question though :

1. The upgrade mechanics seem to be broken. It seems you cannot select the item that you want fixed.

2. In DX10 the brightness / gamma / contrast sliders do nothing, which is weird. In DX9 they work just fine.

Thank you again for you effort over all of these years. What you have accomplished is beyond anything we could have expected.

The only thing I cannot understand is what is taking so long.

I think they may have encountered unexpected problems.

Two years ago I made a torrent and completely uploaded the whole Debian 6 Linux distro in under 5 hours on a 40Mbps connection.

Please re-consider, finish the game, take as much time as you need to polish it and release it on Steam. (or on whatever distribution network you choose to).

Even Quake 3 got leaked back in the day.

In real life **** happens, sometimes because good people with good intentions can end up trusting ********.

We, the true STALKER fans support you !

I cannot even begin to understand your frustration but please don't abandon this wonderful project like Grigorovich did.

Following this mod since 2009 but never registered a moddb account until just tonight. I really hope the whole leaking business is not just a cruel April fools joke. ( it seems surreal that after so much time some **** decided to ruin it all).

Please find a way to release this commercially. Almost every game gets leaked / pirated. As others already said please do not let the ******* win.

If for whatever reason you decide not to release it commercially you have my word that I will still make a donation.

Lost Alpha and (to a lesser extent) Misery are the major forces keeping S.T.A.L.K.E.R alive.
