If you have previous versions of HL2MMod installed : Remove them, make sure that your sourcemods folder has no folders named HL2MMod, otherwise mod will function incorrectly/crash/glitch/explode/start a thermonuclear war.
Do a clean install, don't overwrite any files. Clean install only. Clean, as in c-l-e-a-n. Don't load any older saves too. Start anew.

Most of the weapon textures were edited/upscaled to up the visual quality when models are close to the player.
Shotgun has new walk animation, fixes and improvements for inspect animations, slight model changes and color scheme changes/edits.
AR3 No longer has textured gap/hole under the sight.
Crowbar was fully re-animated.
All weapons now have lowered anims, they will no longer "float" in idle animation when facing a friendly NPC or in a friendly region.
Pistol and .357 now use "classic styled" ironsights.
Pistol and .357 now have crosshairs when in ironsights.
Gravity Gun now has its own crosshairs and can go into ironsighted mode.
Gravity Gun now had dynamic light when punting/launching.
Pistol inspect animations were improved.

I have some missing textures and models in City 17 when trying to play with CM2013
Also having this problem. Big red ERROR's where there should be vegetation. Copied all the relevant folders over but still can't fix it. Any advice?

I was having problems with the game, it always said "AI Disabled" when I was in game. I was about to report it but then I saw the 1.2. Many thanks.
On the main menu screen, open up the console and type these commands in order.
sv_cheats 1
ai_norebuildgraph 1
ai_resume
Then start up your saved game and it should fix the bug.

I agree, it is annoying trying to hit combine with no crosshair. It would be nice having the option to enable true ironsights instead of this "classic styled" ironsights.

Excuse me, I have a somewhat game-breaking bug to report. I can't switch weapons. [I don't have weapon quickselect on btw] It just won't let me switch weapon slots at all. I've looked, reconfigured the buttons for them, it just won't work.

Ep1 is still broken.Now after elite drops the train car there is one more diffrent loop were combine sniper shoots at you and combine blows up doors on the ground floor of the big room. Then looping starts again. Super frustrating!
Same here... bugs out before the apc car is supposed to show up.
Just kill all citizens in 8man group. In my case citizens not immortal to RPG's shots. Try for yourself.

In HL2 Update the later chapters in the Citadel caused me these errors, other than that nowhere else.
It should still work fine.

Thank you so much! I was trying to modify the gameinfo file to load these loose files additionally but couldn't get it to work. Do you know how I can get the Cinematic Mod visual effects? My MMOD game doesn't have any bloom or lens flares and the visuals look rather dull.
having CM visual effect its a little difficult,,because i dont really know the visual effects files where or how are work in CM.

You made me want to try it out on Cinematic mod, I've never played it before but I installed it and tried porting the maps into the folder of your mod.
But I'm getting an error message upon launch "Could not load library client. Try Restarting. If that doesn't work, verify the cache." What does this mean?
Found a fix for that
I got that same error message when I only put MMOD for hl2 in sourcemods, but if you put ALL MMods (including lost coast, episode 1, 2, minerva and cinematic mod) in sourcemods, it fixed it. Hope this helps
I put everything in the sourcemods folder from the start and I'm still having issues. After about five minutes of googling I copied a "gameinfo.txt" and two files called "client.dylib" and "server.dylib" from the source SDK 2013 into the HL2MMod folder and this actually got the game to run, but the options menu doesn't work, I can't identify any obivous differences except for reload animations and sounds, and the ADS key isn't bindable, so I'm obviously doing something wrong (I have no idea what I'm doing, I'm just good at following instructions). This was on HL2 MMod not Cinematic, but I tried a couple of those and they don't work either.
P.S. It's possible this doesn't matter...but I'm using a Mac (flinches).
