It actually is planned, but there's no estimated completion date.
As JPolito mentions, the HL co-op campaign will require 2+ players. Note that it's Valve who are letting us include the HL1 maps, though... I'm not sure that there's anything too bad about Valve generously giving everyone something for free. In fact, it seems to me to be a good thing.
Thanks Sph!nx -- Hope you're doing well too!
If we make a PC version I probably would, but the game has been designed for a system with no sound available; a portrait-orientation, 16-color greyscale display that mostly doesn't support animation; etc., so I'm not sure that people would appreciate it on the PC without major changes to the presentation...
Oddly enough, someone actually did make a winter-themed Stadium map, years and years ago. Not sure of where you'd find it nowadays.
Thanks!
medve: edman747 is working on Blue Shift and Decay conversions.
4.6 has been released, but the ModDB news is awaiting authorization.

It might be delayed a bit now due to some unexpected server issues that came up. I'd guess it'd be sometime in the first week of December, but can't guarantee anything.
A lot for freely given donations, but still not enough to pay a single team member minimum wage (and that's _before_ costs).
Yes. Listed here, under "The players" :

Thanks! The more the word is spread about, the more we can build the community back up after losing people due to sound crashes etc.
New news not authed yet... until then, you might want to check the official SC site...
Yeah, I too was clicking through with the intention of saying: Nice gaben model.
The super players you're talking about are probably due to a server mod, by the way, such as "XP Mod". The SC team has no involvement with server mods.
The official donation rewards are listed here:

(Electric Crowbar, Gold Uzis, and Chumtoad). While a lot of fun to use, they're fairly balanced and don't have a major effect on difficulty.
I think the Mayans already have that covered with their Mesoamerican Long Count calendar...
olvimasta: Thanks. There are a lot of people helping at the moment, by the way.

And the 6.0/delay was only a joke, if anyone missed that :).
Wow. Thanks for doing this -- just seeing the trailer made my day :). Will definitely try it out after finishing with my own release (if not before...)
Clonest: Our apologies for selfishly spending thousands of man hours releasing stuff for free and thereby personally injuring you. (There are a lot of people on the Sven Co-op team, by the way -- not just me. See the Credits page of the manual).
Not sure of exactly what you're talking about regarding Blue Shift/OpFor, but the co-op mods released here on ModDB (8-9 years after SC) are not compatible with Sven Co-op, and so not of much help to us. If anyone wants to do a SC conversion of Blue Shift, that'd be great -- as for OpFor, Edman747 already has a beta working which will be included with SC4.1.
Should be interesting in multiplayer!
There was an Amiga game, with robots, that used a similar system (i.e. pre-program your movements, then both side's turns occur simultaneously)... Can't remember its name for some reason.
Unfortunately, due to an issue in 4.0x, you must run Steam in English to avoid this problem. Sniper is working on solving it properly.
It's mostly a translation guide -- explaining how to install, set options etc. if you can't read the English text.

It's a worldwide competition, by the way. No problem if you're in Argentina.
Feel free to complain to Valve about that ;).
They're excellent against things like zombies, but against most monsters they usually die pretty fast if you don't protect them. Though their poison cloud gives them some cover against ranged attacks, they're super vulnerable while hopping about.

Full changelog hasn't been released yet (so long it's awkward to sort out) -- what you see on svencoop.com is just from the last four months (larger versions here: Svencoop.com ). 4.0 was definitely slow, though, yeah.
