Awesome mod, enjoying it very much. Only 2 issues i've found
1) Can't level up econ buildings as the men of the east when doing a horde map, this is huge as it doesn't allow for you to pump out more resources, or better units.
2) A few spelling errors here and there, not a big deal at all.

The changes to war of the ring are awesome, and the addition of new maps is also great. Just wish goblins had more direction is all.

Hmm it seems after play testing a bit, that you guys weren't sure which way to go with the goblin faction. You tried to make them spammy, but they are too expensive to spam. You tried to make them strong regarding the gundabad troops, they don't give enough bang for their buck compared to other tier 2 units.
Camps only have 3 structures... I am going to rush against a goblin player all day everyday, they have no defensive structures on a camp, they have no camp upgrades. The archers on the bridges, you might as well take them out, the damage they do is so little, that is almost a hindrance more than helping compared to other factions defenses. Sure I get you want players to build a porter, the thing costs a quarter of the cost that you start with, and then to expand costs again.
Hopefully a patch comes out at some point.
Problem is the goblins do so much, but they aren't really great at any one thing.
Will the edain hero submod not work with the new version already ?

Another quick question, would it ever be possible for factions like the imperial fists to be playable in the campaigns or too much work ?
For some reason i'm only seeing the titans, and the honor guard unit for the space marines in campaign ? I'm using the configurator already, also. I only see titans, gladiator squad, for regular space marines.
Does this mod change the campaign at all ? The current version, the campaign doesn't seem to add any units except veteran groups, and titans in campaign so far ?
edit: Also, not sure why this was down voted, it is literally a question, tough community I guess ?
Any update on this ? I feel like the mod was more complete like 5 patches ago, many units and improvements seem to be missing for me now.
I agree, having everything unlocked is kinda lame. I prefer getting pumped when I finally hit lvl 25 for a lot of the extra castles and what not. Kinda doesn't seem like any reason to play anymore other than a game here and there.
Dang, you guys got rid of the maltese, they were my favorite civilization because of the unique ability to summon a lookout tower.

Heroic charge used to be a custom hero ability actually
Ride down- Hero temporarily gains +30% armor and damage towards enemy heroes
Horse archer- Hero pulls out his bow on horseback
Muster the horses- Target cavalry building is buffed, cavalry train faster, and cheaper add a few levels to the ability for increased effect.
Muster the horses 2- Target cavalry building instantly goes to the next level, if at level 3 the cavalry structure gets 2 mounted horse archers to protect the building.
Just a couple ideas, obviously the names need some work, but I have about a million more.
I get that they only had 5 wizards, but people using custom heroes don't really care about being canon to the story of lotr. They just want a super buffed hero, most of the player base is not pvp, and custom heroes are never in pvp games anyways.

Does the edain team ever have any thoughts about expanding created heroes ? Always thought it would have been cool to get like a good riding hero with unique mounted abilities. Also would be cool to make a mage with similar abilities that gandalf used to have, fireworks, pinecones etc. Can't remember if this was answered or not.
Wotr is really odd, the ai rushes hard with no plan at all normally.

What's the deal with the hero sub-mod installation text ?
Why does it say

Why would that need to be included ?
I love the horde mode, but dang is it hard. I've also never been able to successfully find gollum on any of those maps. Helm's deep has the most useful outpost, stonewain valley horde would be better if it was castles instead of camps, and maintaining an outpost there is difficult to do. Honestly never tried the black gate I don't think.
I play mostly horde Edoras if I'm being honest, I feel it is the easiest one, less micromanaging of ballistas and what not.
Do you think edain team will ever release a horde map with an outpost inside the fort ? One of the few things that seems to be lacking is the ability for certain factions to get access to their strongest units.
Also would be cool if horde mode had a bit of a longer grace period than it currently has, don't really get a proper amount of time to build up anything, whether that is economy or even unit upgrades.
Hero sub mod is back, finalllyyyyyyyy. The hero submod was the best part of edain 3.8.1, and I am thrilled to see it back. Only downside is I don't speak German so I can't use the sub mod yet, here is too hoping that the english version fully translated comes out soon.
