Would these things use the same "Captain's Star Log." that Archer used on Enterprise?

War Log, Battlecruiser Gr'oth

Admiral M'Duras has given us our marching orders. We are to proceed to the Yridia system and clear the way for his invasion fleet, which will arrive in one week.. Yridia, besides being an important source of both tritanium and dilithium, is an ideal jumping off point to four Federation sectors, and Starfleet knows this as much as we do. The last attack on the system resulted in the destruction of the battlecruisers T'Maltz and Krochal, as well as most of their screening cruisers. The loss of two powerful warships is a blow, but it seems that their sacrifice has given my crew an opportunity. Two of the three heavy starships guarding Yridia were heavily damaged during the battle, and they've been forced to leave the system for repairs. All that remains of Starfleet's picket is the starship Ares, the very ship the Gr'oth was built to defeat. Tomorrow we will find out whether or not she's up to the task.

The seventeen survivors from the Amphictyon have been transferred to my friend K'Mogh's ship, the Sarcophagus. While custom instructs me to hand them over to my superior, there have been rumors regarding how the Admiral and his house treat prisoners, with the word "disappeared" coming up all too often. while I have no proof to back up these rumors, their existence alone means that I will not hand over any prisoners to the Admiral. They deserve better. Because of their ship's sacrifice, the remaining Federation ships were able to escape back to their space, so that they may fight another day. While they may have lost their fight, their actions command respect, and I know in my friend's custody they will receive it.

By being sent to Raxus, does that mean if you capture that kind of planet, you can build it then?

War Log, Terran Battleship Enterprise, Stardate 014.01

The Enterprise has finished testing the prototype particle fusion torpedoes in orbit of Midnall Beta. Unfortunately for the designers, the weapon has not lived up to expectations. A good trip to the Agony Chamber should teach them the price of failing the Empire.

Now that our business here is concluded, the Admiralty has ordered us to rendezvous with the Third Fleet in the Ropax system. We've tracked down a group in insurrectionists that have been operating in the region, and Admiral Gardener wants some more heavy hitters with him before he takes them on. Apparently, an Andorian battlecruiser is among the rebels. Good. It's about time we had a proper fight.

Long Live the Empire!

Thank you. Would it be possible to get a scene with the D-7 with the Klingon tanker, while behind it are a F-4 and a D-6? I'd like to cover M'Duras dispatching the Gr'oth to the Yridia system to deal with the Ares and Carpathia. Also, in the mod, what Starfleet ship would be logical as a raider? A Marklin?

Since a lot of these screenshots seem to be filling in the blanks between the scenes described during the main Four Years War arc, would it be possible to put in a screenshot request? I'm sorry if this is out of line.

War Log, Battlecruiser Gr'oth.

We have been diverted from our scheduled raid on Trigammon to the Tellun System. An enemy carrier group, almost certainly the one that has been harassing our supply ships in this sector, has been discovered in orbit of the system's fourth gas giant. I've ordered the helmsman to take us in slow and under stealth. If there's one thing I've learned from fighting Starfleet, always expect surprises.

Still, I do hope to conclude this action promptly and get on with our attack on the Trigammon dilithium stations. My friend, K'Mogh of the Sarcophagus, has just told me that M'Duras is recalling all of his battlecruisers back to the anchorage in the Mempa system. Having known the esteemed Admiral for a long time, I guarantee that it will be some grandiose plan that will result in a glorious battle that does nothing but add to the stalemate, so I'd prefer the Gr'oth out raiding for as long as possible. Between M'Duras' frequent appearances at the sector Governor's parties, and his long "retreats" to less than reputable establishments, someone actually has to fight this war.

(AN) I looked back at the older screenshot that covered this engagement, so I hope I'm not too rusty at this.

Well, they say in STD that the Nimitz class is a command ship, so the mod equivalent would be the Korelev. Now, that by itself doesn't prevent the Nimitz showing up in a future update as a Korelev variant, like with the Nebula/Phoenix, but, at the same time, they could also tweak the spaceframe research tree to give the Korelev a "Nimitz" refit, like they did in STA:3 with the Excelsior/Lakota.

Well, since it's the mid 23rd Century, the biggest powers of the time besides the big three would either be the Cardassians or maybe the Gorn. I doubt its the Gorn, simply because there aren't a lot of Gorn designs out there, even with FASA, so, potentially TOS era Cardassians? Here's hoping we can see Gul Dukat's grandpa forging a glorious legacy for Cardassia

They could play it off as "Oh, here's one of the few Romulan captains that show mercy, as opposed to the overwhelming majority of them who use escape pods for target practice."

they might be ships that don't have enough fuel to make it back to Romulan bases, so they've been left here to oversee the destruction of Denobula's orbital infrastructure and cause whatever damage they can to the incoming fleet.

Captain's Log, Stardate 1232.4.

We've handled the latest Klingon raid in the Yridia system, but something tells me that this isn't over quite yet. The Klingon's have been stepping up their recon flights into the system, and now they sent in one of their most powerful battlecruisers. They're planning something, that much is certain, but we have no idea what it is.

The Gettysburg took some hits before we were able to stop that battlecruiser, so I've ordered Captain Decker to take her to Starbase 18 for repairs. She should return in a week or so, and Admiral Benson commed earlier saying that she and the Carpathia should be here in a couple day's to reinforce us, so when the Klingon's do arrive, we'll be ready for them.

At least, I hope we are.

Ship's log, Federation Cargo Ship North Star.

Finally, we've arrived at Noveau Montreal with our supply of Regrean wheat-husks. The stationmaster's already cleared us in to a docking port and the colony administration's cargo shuttles are standing by to transport it the rest of the way down. With any luck, we should be completely off-loaded by this time tomorrow, and then I can open all of the bays to vacuum. It's the only way to get rid of the smell.

Regrean wheat-husks are one of the universes' weirdest creations. A mutation brought on by a small scale nuclear war on Regrean nine hundred years ago, it is practically made out of nutrients. The high concentrations of nitrogen and potassium in their stalks makes for one of the most efficient fertilizers known to man, but boy, does it stink. The circulation systems been running nonstop, but it's barely making a dent on against five kilotons of the stuff!

I'm gonna have to cut this one short. The air-freshener in my cabin just ran out, and if I breathe any more of this stuff I'm pretty sure I'll turn in to it.

Station Log, Stardate 0028.5

The Marklin's progress has been coming along nicely. With the new deflector installed, we're ready for our first propulsion tests.

The New Fleet Initiative is the biggest project the Federation has embarked on since its founding. The only ships not being replaced in this are the Yorktowns, and they're being spared only by virtue of being Starfleet's most powerful ships at the moment.

Also, San Francisco has released the names of the next five Marklins, Argo, Alvin, Mariner, and Beagle are all nice names, but the last one has me confused.

Just what the heck is a Xenophon?

War Log, Battlecruiser Gr'oth.

Sufficient repairs have been made to the Gr'oth to allow us to join the fleet in the Mempa system, where the fleet's tenders will finish their work. Assembled with us is the largest gathering of Imperial vessels since the war with the Hur'q centuries ago. It is time to retake the initiative.

Our scouts report that Starfleet is rallying at Yridia and Zerlina Gamma. Our ruse has succeeded. With the enemy believing our objectives are Yridia and Zerlina, they have left Regulus, Beta Trilon, Sherman's planet, and Nouveau Montreal completely exposed, and they will fall like grass to the scythe.

Once our counter-offensive is launched, and the Starfleet commanders at Yridia and Zerlina realize our ploy, my hope is that they will be smart enough to accept their position is untenable, and withdraw to their secondary defense perimeter. While my warriors and I crave battle, the battle for this war will not be fought there. The surest way to defeat an enemy is not to wound the skin, or even cut off a limb, but to cut out its heart. Our objective is clear, and we will not falter until we have reached it and rent it asunder.....

Captain's Log, Stardate 0026.3.

This will be the my final log as Captain of the Bonchune. Once we get back to Spacedock, the old girl will be turned over to the yard hands for decommissioning.

When I first took command, I hated this bucket. She was too old, too slow, and too small for a newly minted Captain. But over the next four years, something changed. It changed so silently I didn't notice till one night I woke up and realized that as old and haggard as she may be, the Bonchune was my ship. Now, I can't imagine a better first command for anyone.

While I can't say I'm happy being the one who has to put this grand old lady to sleep, I take comfort in the fact that at least a part of her will live on. Once she's been decommissioned, she'll be taken to the salvage yards over San Francisco and her durasteel will be used to make one of those new-fangled Asia Class starships. Imagine that, pieces of the little old Bonchune, flying around the galaxy at Warp 7

The Bonchune's a good ship, and I'm certain that when her time comes, she'll go to wherever it is that good ships go, and where I hope to join her when my number is called.

First Officer's Log, Stardate 1232.8.

We came here in the hopes of saving our Captain. We failed.

The man who was Kelvar Garth is gone, his soul trapped in the chaotic prison his mind has become. We are taking him to the mental hospital on Elbus II, where he can receive treatment for his condition.

I saw him earlier, in Sickbay. He was under sedation, so I told the nurse to give us privacy. I told him it should have been me in that bed, not him. If he hadn't tackled me out of the way of that plasma surge when we took that last torpedo hit, he would have been fine.

As I turned to leave, I felt a hand grab me. He was awake, despite the sedation, and he spoke to me, completely lucid, as if we were talking about the past day's water polo match. He ordered me to stop moping around and feeling sorry for himself, that he knew what he was getting into when he signed on, and how we were even for that time on Risa.

After that, he fell asleep, finally succumbing to the sedation. That was the last time I heard Kelvar Garth speak, and I fear it may be the last time anyone does.
