Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.

Most of the Chancellor's duties keep him in the First City on Qo'noS, tending to matters of state and carefully keeping the rivalries of the Great Houses in check. The Chancellor rarely takes direct part in military matters - the Empire's campaigns are typically in the charge of the Warlord and his generals. Nevertheless, on those occasions that require the Chancellor to leave the homeworld, he almost always does so aboard Kronos One - a heavily modified battlecruiser outfitted specifically to serve as a mobile headquarters of the Chancellor's Office, equipped to meet whatever needs the Chancellor's mission may require.
