Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.

Love the Cardenas class!
As do I. They perfectly made the ship fit aesthetically with Pre-TOS design way better than Discovery did.
Discovery is post-TOS aesthetic though, it takes place 10-11 years after the Enterprise launched, and who knows how long after the original Connie itself.
The Discovery aesthetic fits fine as an in-between of the original Connie design and the TOS Movie Era designs.
Enterprise and Constitution were launched back to back in 2245. I have found no source that attempts to dispute this.
10 years after the Constitution was launched =/= Post-TOS
"The Cage," "The Menagerie," "Where No Man Has Gone Before," and main series TOS all show different variations of the Constitution Class. The differences are small, but they are there none the less.
Regardless, you're going to sit there and tell me that in 10 years, Starfleet designed, built/refit, and tested a whole new generation of starships that have propagated so far as to be seen as commonplace? In peacetime? Not Starfleet.
This is the organization who kept the Constitution in service for ~80 years, the Excelsior for ~90 years, and the Miranda for a full century. With the Excelsior and Miranda conceived at times of high political tension in the galaxy.
It was only 3-4 years between TOS and TMP, so yes I can believe Starfleet changing its entire aesthetic in 10 years.
