I'd be curious to see these as small supporting early game flotillas

That's a... Tannhauser, right? I've played this mod a couple of times by now, and I've never seen one of these. Did you guys ditch it or something? I hope not, I love these early starfleet museum ships.

Description

Vessels of the United Earth Space Probe Agency come under fire during a Romulan ambush.

Federation citizens with only a passing interest in interstellar history often ask, "How was Starfleet, then in its infancy, able to fight off the Imperial Navy of the Romulan Star Empire?" The most common and easily understood answer is, "With a great deal of help." Indeed, the contributions of Earth's allies in the Coalition of Planets to Starfleet's efforts during the Earth-Romulan War are well recognised and still commonly known.

It is perhaps a significant injustice of history, therefore, that a great many unsung heroes of that conflict remain in obscurity to this day - the men and women of United Earth's civilian space agencies and independent merchant navies, the greatest of which fell under the auspices of the United Earth Space Probe Agency.

Founded as the International Space Agency in the years before Earth's Third World War, the ISA was responsible for most of humanity's early manned exploration of the Solar System. Though it was one of the few intergovernmental organisations to survive the nuclear exchange and the chaos of the ensuing Post-Atomic Horror, most of the ISA's exploratory programs were put on indefinite hold in the wake of the devastating conflict. It was not until the human discovery of warp drive and First Contact with extraterrestrials that the ISA threw itself back into space exploration. Reforming itself as the United Earth Space Probe Agency in 2065 (somewhat prophetically, as the push for a United Earth government was still in its infancy at the time), the UESPA began construction of Earth's first space vessels capable of interstellar travel, and launched the Friendship-1 deep space probe in 2067 - its mission being to seek out and contact other species.
