Building anticipation one post at a time. And man, what quality!
I want to purchase a bow there, after getting over my fear of heights. Damn that is a scary place to work.
Slightly blue, but I do like the design. Might just be map settings with too much blue along with bloom on though
Well, I quite literally never use CaH, unless it is needed by a custom map, so for me that doesn't make a difference. And there are already plenty of goodies, but hearing there might be EVEN MORE. Aw yiss.
I am liking the reimagining/revamping/expansion of the RC mod. Keeping to the roots that hooked me, and still expanding it. Looking good!
I just love the concept of this. Will love to see more whenever it comes.
Imma necro this real good: Got an idea on how to edit it with the dev kit/tool? I have it myself, but when I try to load the pecangame.upk it crashes it. I am not very well-versed on how it works, but hope you can help if you are still active.
No matter how long this work will take, I shall spread it once it is!
Great screenshot as well.
If you cannot see the folder it is hidden from view for you, because it most certainly exists. Search for "%appdata%" in your search bar and you will be brought straight into the "C:/.../appdata/roaming" folder.
You can trust me to help you out MorguLord, be it testing or find a solution for your problematic laptop!
Looking nice. Smooth movements, good UI, and a bonus for me is that it reminds me a bit of a UEF type turret (from the game series Supreme Commander). Doesn't matter if that was intentional or not, I like it :)
I will say that despite the delays and stuff, I am looking forward to what changes come with the next patch. I do hope, intentional or not, that WotR stops going out of sync in multiplayer/LAN (T3A/gameranger), as it's always nice to mess around in that.

"It is an up to 4-player map." -> You can play it solo, though usually more fun with friends ofc.

Default bug in the base game: when an AI tells its units to move past a gate, they will ghost through it if the gate gets closed. Have the gate closed before they get to it, or make somthing happen to interrupt the planned path for the units.
Literally anything: I sleep
RC update: REAL ****
HIDE! THE MOD IS ACTIVE AGAIN!
Also, love to see the progress here, even if there is a 7 month gap between them :P
From what I read it does seem rather interesting. Having free-build to set up your base and creative ways to defend there, whilst also having plots that are placed around, most likely at strategic positions on the map (similar to the capture-points of BFME 2 with inns and outposts, but more unique to the faction and more variety/choice)
I am also intrigues by the artifact system mentioned, as being given power-ups does sound interesting. Based on the fact it is replacing the ringhero mechanic, I would assume that these power-ups either are permanent, or you maybe bind it to a building (most likely fortress, but could be cool for you to be forced to choose). From the top of my head I would thing (if my guess about how it's used it correct) the power-ups would be in form of increased production speed, lower costs, greater armour and/or repair speed, producing units pre-upgraded (maybe 1 for banners, 1 for armour etc.). Honestly just tossed my thoughts out here, but I will make sure to follow this mod's progression as long as it has any. The screenshots don't show nor say much, but they look cool regardless :)
I will agree this very much has that WIP look, but then again, I have a feeling it will be bloody enormous (and maybe demaning death from my enemies whilst in it)
The best way to explain it is that for the most part I have been getting a Battlefield 2142 vibe from this whole mod, so additions like Alien/Predator did not really cross my mind (until these wonderful screenshots). I mean, if it just so happens that whilst you prowl through these forest, making your way towards your next objective and you end up feeling like you're being watched... I'll stop there.
Then the next step is getting a proper Alien/Predator mod to use alongside this ;)
If there are ways and reasons to ragdoll, then I shall ragdoll
I am getting Battlefield 2142 vibes from this, and I absolutely love it. Time to follow and keep track of the progress here :)
If you search online, you will see there are widescreen/zoom fix for vanilla 2.01:
SO, they had their strongest heroes, and you fought them with your weakest ones, and you expected to win? Heroes in this mod are very powerful, so the fact your army took a hit is no suprise. You sent in a fair army supported by weak heroes, so the AI's strong heroes just took out your support first and then did their thing against the army.
I enjoyed THoA quite a bit in the past, but always felt bad playing a mod where there felt like there was so little "original" content (with how a lof of the assets were taken from a plethora of other mods). Being able to see a THoA with it's own assets will be awesome.
Some notes about Mordor: A nice thing to have would be shortcuts to produce morgul orcs (C for normal orcs, A for archers, P for pikemen, something like that).
Another thing is that it seems like I can't release the prisoners after upgrading my catapults with fire shots.
Lastly, Call the Horde does not seem to work with them.
I've not done a great and in-depth analysis of the faction(s) yet, so this is all I have for now.
Just as a note: I played against a Hard lorien AI yesterday, and they did bring the ring into the fortress after some time. Never made ringhero tho
So you can get people on top of the scaffolding? Sounds quite awsome, but I can't imagine it having too much health :P
