If you by second version mean a more edain-ish version, it is here. Script changes and balance changes have arrived.
If you mean a more redone version, that might come around if I manage to find a certain map.ini. It could change a lot (especially if I find the scripts for the map they were made for)

Is it possible to change difficulty?

Playing with Ringheroes on will make it about twice as difficult, though I am working on an update where it will only be a single difficulty (sorry :P)

Due to some derping around from me, I lost what I had planned to upload, and didn't get to redoing it until last night (albeit not done as much, nor as good, as on the one I lost). There is only 1 difficulty setting now, and I'd say it is "hard" (previous normal was "medium", and hard mode was "brutal"). Also, different factions will result in different games.
is this a 1 player map?

"It is an up to 4-player map." -> You can play it solo, though usually more fun with friends ofc.
