It looks like it's ready to nom nom the corvette. All three of these Ssi-Ruuvi ships look fairly small, are they going to pack a big punch to compensate? Or even better are we gonna see some larger Ssi-Ruuvi ships? :3

Yeah, unfortunately SWR has some fanboys who will karma spam you for disagreeing or contradicting with any single tiny thing the devs say whether it's just a difference of opinion or constructive criticism or feedback or whatever. If they had a mind and opinions of their own they'd likely realize that they are probably just as annoying to the mod team as they are to us. No one likes a fanboy.

The description says it's a heavy lift heli - can this transport vehicles? I know it's complimentary to the Hind but unless it can lift vehicles it's use is sorta limited. Once the Hind becomes available I don't see much motivation to use this for infantry transport.
I foresee cybernetic general kicking major *** on this map... His forces are so mobile, perfect for spreading out and capturing tech buildings
With the loss of the mini-rocket launcher will the Russian Shock Trooper still be as versatile as it is in the current version? I can't help but imagine their usefulness against tanks will have been limited by the weapons change. Other vehicles it would work but tanks are, well, tanks.

They would because it's a game. Of course the actual Chinese army wouldn't speak English but then again the actual Chinese army doesn't have handheld nuke guns, tanks with gattling guns firing overlord shells and the ability to instantly clone a group of infantry. The realism argument falters the moment it's applied to contra. Unit acknowledgments aren't there for no reason - players like them. But not being able to understand those words would take that away; I think Pred's idea was good - release an optional patch changing the voices back to English.
What's the point in having Chinese and GLA units speak their native language - players aren't going to be able to understand what the units are saying unless we speak Chinese or Arabic, and I'm betting most of us don't. It's pretty unnecessary, the only reason I can see for this is realism... But in a mod like contra there's no room for that.
The flag being yellow looks a bit strange, perhaps make it white instead?
Will elites (and other units that have the capability) be able to lunge out of the way like they do in the actually halo games to avoid being hit by vehicles? Cuz if not, this gold guy's in trouble.

The short part of the video before the bombardment has a very proper Halo feel to it. The warthogs driving feels very right, I can't really explain it but you've captured the Halo atmosphere well. Nice job. Also I like how the bombardment is so quick to arrive, in vanilla sometimes enemy units would have moved away by the time it go there which was kinda annoying
Your screenies have a greenish lighting to them, is that a nice new in game effect or do you apply it afterwards?
What's with the bright band along the skybox? I've seen a glitchy shadow that caused something like that before, is one of your ships doing that?

Back to TBD I see. 'r0x should have just left it that way in the first place, it's better this way than to have constant delays on the date.
There's no way the mod is riddled with bugs at this point, especially so bad that nobody could play for more than five minutes. If it is, it's going to take more than 10 days for a 'perfect version' considering the size of the mod. The delay is most likely for another reason.
What the hell man, release Shockwave on the day I finally get Black Ops! How am I supposed to choose?
