Having worked as a farmer and woodcutter for most of my life i became determined to do something that would leave my mark after i was gone. Since then i got back to studies, and i have now a master degree in Electrotecnical Engineering as well as a degree on Electromechanical Engineering. On my free time i like playing and so i became interested in creating my own games or, in the shorter term, modding games to get something closer to what i would like games to be.
Just a small demonstration of the psybolt and psyflame upgrades.
The psybolt upgrade turns the storm bolter bolts into psybolts which is visually displayed near the end of the video.
The psyflame upgrades turns the heavy flamer into a powerful anti-daemon flamer (visually at least).
The upgrades are independent from the the weapons themselves and so you must have the 2 conditions to have the visible upgrade, for example to use psybolts you need to have the storm bolter equipped and the psybolt wargear equipped. That means the visual upgrades can be made without changing the main weapon.
If it becomes desirable to have the upgrades as a weapon option (for example upgrading from normal storm bolter to psybolt storm bolter, it can be easily recoded in OE to suit that need), which would mostly be useful if psy upgrades were meant to change armour pierce tables and similar aspects of the weapons, rather than damage stats.
