Having worked as a farmer and woodcutter for most of my life i became determined to do something that would leave my mark after i was gone. Since then i got back to studies, and i have now a master degree in Electrotecnical Engineering as well as a degree on Electromechanical Engineering. On my free time i like playing and so i became interested in creating my own games or, in the shorter term, modding games to get something closer to what i would like games to be.

It would also be cool to trigger this by the dark eldar death blossom. So if there's enough blood on the battle field you can summon Khornes daemons.

You mean using a system like the soul resource from dark eldar (which is collected from the dead bodies) to activate the possession? There is no requirement for soul ammount like there is for mob value (even in SS) so doing it directly would not be possible. The dead bodies that can be harvested for souls or cannibalized don't actually belong to a player from my understanding and so mob related work arounds would not be possible. Still an ability with a cost based on souls could be present to simulate a possession in SS since you could use the ability to spawn an invisible entity when there was enough blood and then that entity would automatically spawn the squad of the desired daemon before vanishing. At least in theory.

This was just an idea, not ment to be a serious suggestion. I thought of the dead bodies, not of the soul resource.
I know all the things you said. So I know it's propably not possible. But it could be done with Scar :)

Using the brain in search of answers is a good way to keep a sharp mind. Exploring the "What if?" has taken me far so i always consider things that are refered in conversation be it on real life or in this virtual space. If we are afraid to even consider the crazier or stranger options, we are overlooking a possible source of new gameplay options :)
RT2 usually suggests some pretty exotic things and i still try to conceptualize them despite the practical difficulties that might be faced and/or the actual capability of it being done.
If you ever think i am conceptualizing something pretty crazy let me know as i might not have been crazy enough for it to start looking sane :D

SCAR is obviously always an option in some of the exotic concepts but sometimes it is overused on things that don't require it ;)

Description

In this video the renegade champions have an automatic possession implemented but with a requirement set that only allows the possession when there is a certain mob value in a certain radius. The only soldiers with a mob value attributed in this experiment are the champions and the requirement determines that at least 2 of them need to be in close proximity in order to trigger the automatic possession.
This allows the representation of the perils of devoting to the dark gods since daemons could use the accumulation of cultists in an area to enter the material universe through the body of some minor warrior.
