This mod seems to break the Lucky 38 Penthouse cell by teleporting the player out of bounds onto the ground far below the penthouse/lounge/suite instead of any of the elevator doors like normal, regardless of what option you pick when using the elevator.

I love the post-GLaDOS destruction test chambers. They remind me of the aftermath of the Resonance Cascade in Half-Life 1. Was that part of Half-Life an inspiration for that, by any chance?

I'm not sure if this question has ever been answered before, and if it has then I apologize in advance. But will there be proper seamless level transitions between each chapter akin to a traditional Half-Life game (like we actually get to ride the tram between Resonance and Domestic Violence), rather than the separate missions the original Decay had?

Isn't it already late morning when Shephard finally defeats the Gene Worm, though? Black Mesa was nuked right after he was teleported out. A whole chapter takes place down there. It's early in the morning when he first enters the parking garage, and the Gene Worm is defeated an hour or so later after he fights his way through the storage facility.

Both this and EZ2 are mods I'm legitimately excited for because I've been wanting to play as a Black Ops soldier ever since I first played Half-Life (and even tried making a mod for HL2 with an... eerily similar plot synopsis to this), I really hope this doesn't go the way of most other mods I've seen and end up delayed or cancelled.

Rambling aside, I can't wait for the next update! This will probably be one of the best Half-Life mods out there when it's finished.

So I tried asking these questions on your forums, but the Captcha thing doesn't work so I couldn't post.

1. Do the Black Mesa Announcement System/VOX and the Tram Announcer have VA's yet? Will they sound like HL1 or more like BMS?

2. Will the Tram ride be extended? I always found it to be way too short and lackluster for a "tour" of the post-disaster facility.

The new beta is fun, but it's incredibly buggy. The game keeps crashing when you kill one of the first Vortigaunts you fight in Office Complex, and the corpses interfere with elevators/doors/etc.

Did anyone else get an antivirus warning while installing this?

The cliffhanger ending makes me want more, since this mod is fun and clearly had some effort put into it.

I also found an early core transfer scene, oddly enough; this GLaDOS model is still in the game's files, albeit lacking animations.

Look for something called "glados_wheatley.mdl". Or something of the sort.

One thing that's been on my mind forever: Will this be a recreation of the Beta Portal 2 plot or just a beta-themed mappack like all those "HL2 Beta recreation" mods are?

I focus my creative efforts for the sake of one other mind aside from my own. And I know and have seen that in turn, each and every one of my followers will benefit from that.

Understood. But I strongly suggest you reconsider your plans, as having to splice together lines from videos of varying quality as opposed to a talented voice actor recreating the lines (and maybe creating more lines, if this is going to turn in to a full fledged game as opposed to a showcase of cut content) for GLaDOS could impact this mod in a negative way.

One thing I noticed, though... the head is upside down, making the optic's light float in the air.
