Since few months I desire to play to "a Lord of the rings" mod...
Today I see your mod, and I think is the one which makes me happy to replay to Total War game.
Shogun 2 is my favorite, I know it's an old game ^^

The last "LotR" mod I play was on Medieval 2... a long time ago :)

So, I must buy ATTILA, but I'll wait for promotions on steam...

Needs DLC, for example "Blood and Burning" to have the full package -war graphics- ?

Nevertherless, Big thanks to your work to make Total War game a world of Elves, dwarves and so much creatures to travel in countries of LotR !
(I've got TW Warhammer, but it's not LotR ! ^^)

I'll come back to the zone in a few days and I'll do a feedback to my experience.

I tried to play to Third Age Total War with no addon and the same thing, CTD :(
I already played to TA (Win7x64), and no problem... maybe Windows 10 makes an issue...

I read some pages of the comments, and it said that :

-1- Run with Windows 8 compatibility (Run as administartor ?)
-2- For Third Age change the name folder to an another mod name in medieval 2 Total war/Mods.

Should I do these changes ?

Always the same issue... with last update an no update.

When I must fight on the field,I click to "battle" and CTD...
In my last game, I played many rounds and fights, before this issue.

I arrived to Chernobyl NPP and I touched the Monolith to make a wish. I selected wish #3 and my quest is to talk to Sidorovich.
No spoil here... but strange atmosphear after this choice ^^

My issue is that one time i talked to Sidorovich, i must see another character, but my quest target on PDA is always Sidorovich !!!

Is there a solution to this issue ? Is it a known issue ?

Otherwise, I give thanks for this amazing mod !

Install Lost Alpha 1.300 + patch 1.30013
Clear and fresh game to start this awesome adventure !

But, one bug, very boring : i can't see my hands, guns or weapon.
in third person view, i've got the weapon, in first person view, my hands disappear : i can shoot, but it's unplayable !

some ideas to solve the problem ?

Yes, yes, yes : it works !

I maked a backup of gamedata folder before 2.04 patch. No re-install just copy, and load a save work.
I suspected "Only R2/..." folder.

Hi all

AA2 only work on "Static lighting", after load a save.
"Full Dynamic Lighting" --> BSOD
I try everything, and only "Static" work

(Q9550 + GTX 570 + 8 GB RAM)

set on "Full Dynamic" is impossible ?

Otherwise, the mod seems to be GREAT.
First "quick mission" on the garbage, and i appreciate : the render of the weather, sounds, AI... and headshot !
i say that cause i try an other mod (ELITE Mod 2013 3.1), to test AI, and no headshot possible at the cordon, 200 bullets and just 3 kills (on 5) at the "militatry" bridge ^^

So, in AA2, atmosphear (the fog...) and sense of the zone : excellent work ;)
I wonder to travel Agroprom, i imagine Yantar ! :o

To answer your question : Only happen with Stalker SoC, maybe othertimes Clear Sky but less than SoC...

Sorry to bother you, i've always the problem with saves corrupted...

I'm gonna try to reinstall SoC and the mod, again...
But some clarifications :
I can play the game, the first time, just after the setup... but when i try to load a game, BSOD.
I replied in the discussion of this problem (and my PC spec.)
AA2 looks amazing, but i can't play in one shot ! ^^
Maybe the driver version....i don't know.
What's your driver version for this mod ? (if you have NVidia GPU)

I'm on the beginning of the game, only 2 quests on my PDA.
Zone : Cordon, 2 or 3 hour of game, no more. I appreciate the Cordon ^^
Maybe the update of my GPU driver... What's your driver version on Nvidia ?

The mod has been designed for version 1.0006 only, that's saying the Readme file.

I'v got some problems, me too :(
--> save corrupted, all the saves !
I re-install the game and the mod, and the same thing : BSOD just before i can play on the map (all of my games work well)

Someone have the same problem ?... Solution ?

Since a few month I not played to SoC... and i realize i'm addicted to the zone xD
Last mod played:
"OGSE" --> The best for me currently
and "Mod Pack 2013" --> not bad, but some -inconsistencies- like RayTwitty said ^^ make the game boring... Nice textures and graphics, but i stopped my way into this mod before enter to yantar.
Lost Alpha, waitin' for so long...
And Phantom Zone is coming : I track this mod and I saw the latest video, seems to be great on visuals, and the project, to "restore" the "lost zone" among other things, is a very nice path to rediscover the zone !

AI difficulty is a gameplay setting very important to make your mod coherent. PNJ in OGSE seems realistic sometimes, despite some bugs.
So one question : Are you working on AI ?

I don't know... i cleared, a little farther on the right the small roadblock with 3 or 4 pnj, on snipe...
I entered the building on the left and clear the first floor and i begun the 2nd... and black screen.

On PSX : Bushido Blade 2, a great game !

Same thing : save crash to Limansk, and the game is unstable...

I replay the level, I maked 2 saves and crash again.

Sometimes it works, and today, crash (black screen) and when i returned on desktop, direct x crash message when I run Fraps... and Crysis run automatically...
I never saw that... ^^

I reboot and no problem, Fraps run correctly.

All drivers, and direct X are updated.

Do I need to patch CS with 1.0010 ?

It's a pity that the game is unstable at this place...

I'm a french player, and i play on SoC mainly.
CS, i never like the story line, and other things. i've never finished it.

But, 2 days ago, i got a craving to play CS modded...

Thank a lot for this compilation : Amazing travel to Chernobyl !

No crash, only few silencer can't fix on gun or machine gun...
and a poor framerate during the day mainly... i'm bored to turn down the graphics settings.

But the work on the textures, graphics : photorealistic sense sometimes ! whith a sound of thunderstom :)

i tried the patch 3GB Ram enhanced... but it seems to be unstable...

I'm gonna try it... maybe it works with CSMP 2012 1.4...
