That's Windows 7. You can reduce the size of the taskbar buttons, if that's what's making you think otherwise.

I sincerely hope development on this mod will return. It's a brilliant concept that really deserves its own mod/game.
Put it on Steam and I'd buy it again.
Give it multiplayer and I'd pay three times the price.
How could I ever say no? My answer will always be a definite yes.
One suggestion I would make is that it needs to be easier for the Overwatch to see where the resistance players are, and it needs to be easier all around to keep track of who's died and who hasn't.
A Euro! He's serious, man!

I CAN SEE FOREVER
On the whole it seems a bit too big, in my mind. It doesn't seem to fit with the idea with batteries, which are so easily and frequently picked up.
Also I think you should adjust it so that there are less batteries on average than previously, but have each battery give more energy.
The only thing that's going to be annoying about this is the constant need to DL new files. You guys are going to post a news update with every mod update right? Since I'm subscribed to your RSS feed at least I'll know when I need to DL the next patch.
All I need to know right now is whether you can look one direction while running the other yet.
Because that was the only reason I got off the last time.
I suppose you have to do something with all that manpower after you've put out the game. And really, what else can a game-development team do, short of develop games?
Looking good, but DO watch for balance issues. With such diversity in the unit selection of each faction I fear that this game has the potential to be horribly hard to balance.
This doesn't necessarily need to delay the release, though. Going into open beta would allow you to get a ton more feedback as to which aspect of the game needs tuning.
Every single time you post an update, it takes so long for you to post another that I lose faith that this mod will ever be released. Then you show something else as evidence of progress. It's terribly distressing emotionally.
optimization for 64 players is probably something you guys should work towards.
Oh crap! Countersuit!
I'm definitely going to take a look at this. Very interesting what you have here.
Also I'm going to sue you Dan911.
You should have the box randomly flip out and killed people...at random. Touch the box? You explode! Shoot the box? You explode! Walk next to the box? You explode! Don't do anything even remotely related to the box? You explode!
You should make a custom kill notification for such occasions as well.
I believe most MMRPG's have their engines built from ground up. I can certainly guarantee you that Source is not built for it.
3rd person in source generally doesn't work as well as other engines.
That there is an idea for a mod itself: use as few models and resources as possible without getting absolutely retarded.
So, it's a testing ground for all your experiments in modding? Sounds like a very interesting opportunity for other noobies. Like a study group, but for game development...
Multiplayer. I understand NPC snipers are notorious for being a pain to code.
I demand that someone form an organization to get this mod voted top mod on ModDB. The irony of a fake mod winning the title is too good to pass up.
It seems to me (in my totally inexpert opinion as a gamer and in no way a developer of anything) that that would be rather easy to implement code wise: you go the same height as crouch, but can't move and get a steadier aim than when crouching. Also it could possibly take you longer to get out of the position.
Animations still have to be done, though.
The only way this could've been a better Christmas present would be if you put up the full game out of nowhere.
