To leave a kingdom talk to the king and renounce your oath. If you are a mercenary you have to serve monthly terms, which can be renewed when the popup window shows up. For the freelancer soldier just speak to your commander and ask to retire from service.

There already are ship battles. Although you cannot move th boat, if that is what you mean.

I'll take this until The Veiled Stars comes out. This mod is still better than I could do. :)

maybe just go to your options in game and get the game a higher performance rating. Mine is at 136%, and doesnt crash nearly as much as it did.
