Hey, I'm having issues with skinning mutants. Game freezes whenever looting ANY mutant. It's basically a CTD, although I have to either restart the PC or close it down using task manager.

Is this TAZ or MISERY related? I found a few threads saying it's actually related to AtmosFear, with a fix, although applying the fix makes the game unable to launch, giving a BugSplat error instead.

Yes, I'm aware, and that's how I'd usually play. Which is why I bothered to specify that I'm aware that's not the intended way to play the mod, but I'd still like to know if it was an option regardless.

Hey, does anyone know if there's a fast travel mod tailored to this? It seems that the CoC variants don't work with this mod. Well, as far as I know and have experienced. Using the debug travel is dicey, at it will most likely spawn you in the middle of a fresh pack of muties.

I'm aware fast traveling is not the stalker way, but after a few playthroughs, I wanna be able to zip back to my safe haven, instead of trekking five different areas.

Hey man, so to break up the constant talk of a beta release and the hype, I had a more personal question in mind, simply because I'm curious.

Do you ever plan on working for a studio? Seeing as you're an absolute gun nut, I would say you fit right in with the Escape From Tarkov devs. The amount of weaponry they have planned is astounding, and I could totally imagine you speeding up the process for them a bit ;)

In any case, I hope you go straight to the top, during or after Armed Zone (preferably after, cause I'm still gunning through 1.7.4 from time to time and need some delicious new guns)

You'll have to disassemble weapons using the multitool. You'll get specific parts depending on which caliber weapon it is.

These can either be "rusty" "worn" or just new. You'll be able to see which parts you can get out of the weapon by hovering over the weapon in your inventory, or which parts the weapon will need.

Once you have the parts for the weapon you wish to repair (you can tell by hovering over the gun and seeing the parts that light up in blue), give the mechanic a Putinka vodka (the long, white one), and place your gun on the vice. You'll also need the weapon repair kits (flat belt-thing with yellow parts on it) and the three tools (the long rod, looks like a file, the rectangle thingy, and the multitool. They're all placed by each other in the trader window.)

Once your gun is on the vice and you got all the parts (or simply some of them), just double click the weapon repair kit in the box in the bottom, pick your weapon part and click on the square box with the green light in the corner. Rinse repeat until you've installed all the parts!

PS: The AWR system is so annoying to understand, but pretty cool once you get into it.

Hey, did you get the debug menu to work? Doesn't seem to do anything on my end. Did it the same way as with CoC, where I added it to the end of the target line, after the quotation marks

So I think my previous comment got passed over. I've got the bat file, I've made a shortcut, as adding a line to the target text would change the actual file name. However, even after adding the lines to the target section, AFTER the quotation marks, with spaces between the two lines, I get nothing. Debug menu doesn't work on my end.

This doesn't seem to be working for me. I created a shortcut to the START-x64 bat file and added both smap4096 and dbg after the target line. That is to say, my target line states the following now:

"C:\Games\Stalker - ANOMALY\START-x64.bat" -smap4096 -dbg

Pressing "S" does not work in the pause menu for me.

Looks amazing, man. Glad that it's essentially still Last Day, but with an engine upgrade and some amazing visual overhauls. Did you need to ask every mod creator for permission, or is it just free use to begin with?
Can't wait to try this out.

From what I've heard and seen (by playing it myself), Misery 2.2 no longer contains the Saiga shotgun, due to Bohemia Interactive claiming copyright. (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Have you added one to make up for that? Also, please don't ever stop making awesome ****. I love it!

Love the new version. Been playing this miserable mod ever since first release, but I have a quick question: Is it more profitable to hunt for artifacts in 2.2? I hated lugging around 6 of the lead boxes around, never enough stamina, and always irradiated, on top of your equipment going to **** after two anomalies. Have you at least bumped the prices on artifacts, or do I still have to do that manually?

I noticed the original Forgotten Hope has a campaign. Is it possible to install this onto Forgotten Hope, and then simply play Forgotten Hope for the campaign, and switch over to this for Skirmish and MP? Or is campaign disabled when installing this mod?

Heads up, there's still a bug with 9x18 and 9x19 ammo when you try to put it in your stash.
The main cause of this crash, or at least the way it happens to me, is if you unload a weapon, remove an attachment, then click unload again. This happens, sometimes, and when you unload it the second time, the ammo is just "bug ammo" which will make your game CTD. You notice this type of ammo, when you stash your ammo, and the icon flickers, but the ammo count remains the same.

(This can happen with all ammo, as I've found it, but is most frequent with above mentioned.)

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some locations for some of the more rare artifacts?
SPOILERS, OBVIOUSLY.
I already found the Compass in the Red Forest, but I would love to find the Heart of the Oasis, as it isn't in the ventilation complex, and I have also yet to see a Pellicle anywhere.

Hey, tis I again.
I just want to let you know that the previously mentioned bug with the Bandit stash at Dark Valley is still active in my current game (1.4.02).

EDIT: This was actually fixed in 02, it seems, as a fresh start have fixed this bug. No issues anymore!
