i used NOD because i can combine both NOD and GDI when i focus on the left side of the map in order to steal the base on the opposite side of the map and i think playing as GDI you have some minor things locked but NOD have everything unlocked

in terms of overall performance i do prefer GDI but there is something fun in NOD that makes me love them too if that makes sense

i barely play as scrin so i don't know but maybe others that enjoyed them would love to have them. i don't mind the options and if the mission is too hard i also don't mind stealing their stuff if i can haha. above all else i love killing them in skirmish tho something satisfying in killing aliens.

Oh yeah in case anyone is wondering my first error is I place the map in Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath\Maps hence why the map won't appear. The correct way is to place it in AppData\Roaming\Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath\Maps as stated in the download instruction.

the black trees/purple texture thingy is what happened when I accidentally put some files for Tib Wars in Kane Wrath. Verifying the files on steam fixed it but I had to redo the 4gb patch for the exe.

b8factor - Cool map btw its more alive than the vanilla mission and it took me 10 attempts at normal but I finally manage to win it. also any more missions planned?

Oh, I extracted the map on the documents folder of the game since they both have maps folder so I was wondering why the maps didn't appear. Oops lol

anyway in my game I have those black spots right around trees and some of the ground become purple while the mod cinematics is running? can you help me figure out why? but there is no problem playing

btw I'm using vanilla and steam version of the game.

after playing as the Tyrell family for ~18 hours right now i am starting to think that the economy is fine but i will play for a few more days and see how it progress and in that campaign the wall is lost at turn 8, but the Stark is still currently holding them although they are slowly losing as well.

i think the white walkers faction is interesting i wanna see how screwed i would be if i let the other families be wrecked by the white walkers

If i were to made a suggestion i think maybe some minor families troops that are more warlike or experienced in warfare could probably have higher upkeep and their stats increased.

Btw is it intentional to have every faction to have despicable reputation? i didnt realized this until now and from the other custom campaigns that are available is the night king faction active there as well? or just when they are available in the faction selection screen?

Also the purpose of "the Others" is it to destroy all life or just have full control? i thought they were a undead faction but upon further reading they are a ice lifeform that have the ability to raise undead? so looking at the mod they have the ability to recruit other houses troops?

Oh didnt realize general bodyguard is recruitable too in the new version

and its interesting that the faction have their own family tree and princesses too and i can marry them to their same family member lol

i like the recruitment feature of the mod, its unique because you dont use your generic tier style troops all the time which instead you need to recruit based on the house that is in command of the area. From what i can see there is no way to retrain the AOR units other than returning them again to places that have them which for me balance things out.

mercs are expensive for their crappy stats but good enough to be used for fodder in siege or emergency. I played thru the last custom campaign because i thought that the ai is abit chill but playing as the night watch against the others they really hit me non stop starting turn 3. i lost the campaign at turn 33 played on vh/vh. i did however tried to settle the my faction outside of their original area but i died before i can even reach a city. zombies are no joke even tho i think the night watch would floor the others zombies away but nah they just died i had to use the maximum power of the cav to win the day but alas not enough when they are slowly dying as well.

out of curiosity i tried playing as baratheon and cheat build all of the building in their starting regions the richer settlements that have a starting income of 4000 would get around 4000-6000 extra income if all buildings are built and the population growth is off the charts 10%. but places that are poor is still poor even with max upgrade. there is also income penalty from king purse maybe increase them as you grow larger if that is possible?

overall i like the mod because of its recruitment and building feature and i dont mind that cities/castles are not upgradable (at least i think so from what i can see) i will play some more.

also nice work on the map.

really? coz i can run the mod via M2TWEOP.exe as admin otherwise it will crash on startup. what if you try ticking to box under properties and under compatibility tick the box run this program as administrator?

btw i think you also cant run the game on fullscreen so on the cfg make sure windowed and borderless_window is set to 1

and i also heard that you either have to use legit copy of the game coz apparently M2TWEOP would crash with a pirated copy same as LAA.

I hope it helps because i think newer mods/submods would probably start to use the engine overhaul (M2TWEOP).

Yo i manage to get it to work on steam version:

1. extract it to the mods folder in Medieval 2 Total war (EG: steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods)
2. run the M2TWEOP as admin and don't disturb any of the settings there.
3. Click on Start mod.
3. The mod should launch and if it crashes on startup it means that you didn't run M2TWEOP as admin.

i only tested it on custom battle and on the first few turns coz i just downloaded it today. and i already applied the LAA patch since nearly all newer mods need it for stability purposes.

from what i heard/read LAA wont work if you have the pirated version of the Med 2

also someone can correct me if i am wrong:
if you use 32bit windows LAA wont do much too

hello i would like to request some help, i dont know if i did something wrong but i keep on having crashes when i right click to read the building/unit descriptions. i didnt manage to get pass turn 1 and i did try to load a save from the previous crash and it just crash upon loading.

i downloaded the file that is released at Feb 18 2021. I have the steam version and on win 10.
should i perhaps reinstall the game and the mod in a different folder?

oof no, deactivating the hd model will cause crash on save loading but reactivating them again make the save work again. i will try to look at other areas to see if there is more crashes or just the Jupiter area if not i just start again.

Thankfully starting a new game with the HD model off does not cause crash on loading.

also i got this crash as soon as i reach a bandit base in jupiter. it was a quest in the merc faction to meet one of the bandits there

after further testing its just the EOTech scope

i tried to spawn 3 fn scar with each having 3 different scopes so the Barska AC1-632 and the ACOG 3.5x scopes are working fine.

also i recently got Scar-H and having scope attachment other than the acog scope would make the weapon zoom weirdly towards its right side, is there something i missed?

there is a crash when talking with dushman and spawning the weapon via f7 will also cause crash, does it affect you as well or is it something wrong on my end?

lol imo for some reason the pearl is harder than the 2nd korean war which is supposed to be harder than the pearl campaign but damn the last campaign is insanely fun

btw is it intentional that some helicopters act the same as airplane? where they would return to an airport but others would stay in a place that ive assigned them.

and the ai is dope made me jelly on how they can have more than 9 airplane , maybe give some elite units/marine units AA guns with perhaps abit more ammo for the missile AA?

nice work but i cant get it to work if i followed your installation instruction but instead i just copied the NDF_Win.dat to the lowest folder (510117427), thus so far so good 8 hours in so far i dont see any problem on the Pearl of the orient campaign

by highway i mean the last tier of the roads system, and the farmland effect is when you build farms and said territory would have farms dotted in areas of the map.

in custom i used the first very top map not the others because i wanted to see how the units looked like, i will do more tests. as for my pc its mainly a 2017-18 build, 1080ti with 19-7940x and 64 gb ram. worked fine with various mods that ive played bulat steel, tatw, elder scrolls and 3 others that i cant remember right now.

from the historia there are 2 hyrule? the current one and the ancient one, so for the campaign their units are not recruitable yea? (i only see the cav, mage and trebuchet units). im hoping to discover where would these new hyrule would be in the campaign.

one more thing the turn times for the mod is quite fast too even in the later turns

before we start i already applied/re apply and rechecked that both of the .exe with the 4gb patch. Sorry if it comes out too essay like.

in custom battle i tested using the Ordona province basically i just select all of their available units (1 each) i can load the battle just fine but after a few secs the game would just crash with the message "Uh oh this isn't good. no idea why, but exiting now. sorry pal", then i tested again with hyrule and select some of their top tier units and i got the same message, so would that mean that i need to reduce the graphic options? or does that mean i need to test each units to see which one is causing the game to crash perhaps?

so as a test i started playing as hyrule in the main campaign and the hotseat with locked alliance when i manually fight a battle in a campaign even the ones where the ai and i have 1 full stacks the game would run fine mostly, there would be crashes sometimes loading in/out of battles but i can get pass that in both cases i reach turn 71 on the main campaign and 83 on the hotseat.

so far on the historia missions i have 0 crashes playing in those battles but i always restart the game after each battle

changes in the campaign that i enjoy the most is:
- campaign city models that would retain their look even when captured by someone else.
- more flexible options in buildings where you are not limited by the population
- campaign pacing is not too slow and not too fast
- the highway models are cool too i didnt realize this at first
- ruin excavation lol i got a new unit from it that helped me out in a battle
- no ships means no blockade yay 😁
- some more that i cant remember right now

i think the biggest change in the mod is that it didnt follow the same pace as the other bigger mods for Med 2 and i found it to be refreshing even if one didnt play/know any of the lore in zelda

at present i am properly playing as hyrule again on the hotseat with the locked alliance, i will try the other options with other factions as i get to know them better

couple of questions:
1. is the green farmland effect vanilla i know ive seen it in desert areas but not anywhere else? i cant remember i ever seen it areas such as Hyrule Prime, Lon Lon Ranch are covered by farmlands which is cool to see.

2. is it intentional that some areas dont have mine income? location example is Audorn.

3. the music is based from the games?
