Flag 160: Sector_Set3dFloor got this straight from the Zdoom Wiki off the first page of results after typing "Gzdoom 3d floor support" into google. Obviously it does they don't just have flags for things in SLAD3 and Doom Builder for ***** and giggles. The original idTech1 doesn't but Gzdoom does because it's so far removed from the original source code at this point and is more of a quasi-BUILD doom source port at this point.

IF i wanted to for whatever reason can I load just the ZBloody Hell pk3 using a mod manager for Gzdoom like WMD. If yes what version of Gzdoom do you recommend or is it the typical 4.5.0+

well first off it says brutal doom v18 only; if you would have bothered to read the txt file you would have known that. Furthermore, this is an unfinished dead alpha mod for Doom; no wonder if you play it using a buggy unoptimized mess of a mod like Brutal Doom you'll run into problems. Maybe branch out and find other gameplay mods that are not only 1000x better(yes i have played the latest version and it's still ****) but cause less compatibility issues. Oh and also if you are using BD don't use the pistolzombie wad with it either. that just throws more fuel on to the dumpster fire and creates more compatibility issues when playing this with brutal doom.

Think the reason brutal doom has compatibility issues is that it's overhyped garbage and for a mod like this it's more important that it's actually playable and enjoyable on its own before even thinking about compatibility with literal garbage.

It's sure as hell not going to happen from the author of this mod since he seems to have left it for dead.

might want to keep an eye on this via github instead of moddb since there's hotfixes for this mod rather frequently plus like playing with gzdoom beta versions you get to use new features earlier

WHen do you think the first downloadable alpha build will be available to download because this looks incredible nice job with modeling textures and lighting.

The reason the file is so massive is because his "first mod" is just a bunch of mods you can download separately just packaged into one zip file and called it a day. No wonder the file name is the same as the regular BD v.21 file; you didn't change a damn thing. This is just the best example of false advertising.

Ok so i noticed in the TXT file that some of the songs you have listed are unknown but from Dwango20. IDK if this would be something that really matters(enough to edit the TXT file for) but i was able to figure out that map 02 of Rudy's revenge is using the midi version of Harleys & Indians by Roxette that is used in Map 07 from dwango20. Oh nice map01 song BTW i took me halfway through the first loop of it(way longer than needed) to realize it was Cross Eyed Mary by Jethro. Good music and good mapping. It feels like scythe where the maps are short and intense but aren't mini slaughter maps like scythe either. Good mod all around I'm going to go finish this now before playing the sequel to this. Cheers!

THe game is compatible with vanilla Doom II so how about kicking out freedoom2 and replace it with Doom II hell On earth? Maybe there's some incompatibility between the mod and freedoom2 that's causing this.

I have a stupid question I know you say that it isn't compatible with other mods does that also exclude graphical enhancement mods like Beautiful Doom or Bolognese?

You need a program to unzip it. How have you been downloading any files let alone doom mods and not realized this before?

does this work with any map packs since its just a reworking of BD. I appreciate this BTW; I have been looking for a rebalanced version of BD since the original was too ******* difficult for me to get into. I havent found a good balanced one since and i hope this is it ill try it and let you know.

I really like the concept of this since other than The Crystal Maze wad for doom based on the 80s kids game show not the reboot; there arent that many puzzle wads i can find. That being said when would the earliest playable alpha be available. also bonus points for fallout and ratchet and clank TCs

yes but always was lagging behind in terms of complex mods compatibility and a lot of people play mods more than MP not really a use for it as your dedicated sourceport

Gzdoom can read and unzip zip files now. just add it to whatever mod manager you're using and click on it and it'll run or rename it to Beautiful-Doom-20200116.pk3

The problems using brutal doom in general but, do what you want if you want to keep using this mod full of stolen assets from a guy who's band from zdforums and Zandronum forums for being homophobic xenophobic, racist, making fun of people with mental disabilities, psychiatric problems and actually telling someone to kill themselves with a detailed list on how to do so then be my guest

Thats a buffer overflow error or basically one mods trying to write to adjacent memory buffers and failing causing errors.

have you tried the latest dev or regular version 4.0? even with older mods theres more of a chance you'll encounter less problems using latest versions of the source port.

I did everything right. Just cause you dont have a mac doesn't mean you should treat mac users like the red headed stepchild. You could at least have asked someone on any one of the dozens of forums "hey how do i do what i did with the windows version for mac?"

i downloaded the version for the mac all that's in that folder is an .ini and the ipk3 file and instructions which i followed but i still get errors. one of the errors is script warning textures on lines 6,11,21,26,31,36 references itself as patch. ZAN.txt lines 748,757,764,770,775,783,792,799,805,811,817,823 Unknown class ' ' of type actor. Multiple lines of the same error for Forgottenelemental, Golem, IDSentry, Nithriel, Axe, crushbow, and the potionlauncher. Obviously not the same lines of codes but i have them all screen shotted
