This is the full version with texture packs of different resolutions and GZDoom 3.5.1 Modern engine.
This distributive includes:
- GZDoom engine 3.5.1x64 Modern (minimum supported version) and the basic HD textures.
- DSCmaterialPack - PBR materials for basic HD textures.
- DSClowResTexturesPack - DOOM-standard resolution textures (for systems with low performance).
- DSClowResMaterialPack - PBR materials for low resolution textures.

Just put your doom2.wad in "data" folder and run game by one of *.bat files.
To run DSC with your favorite MOD - put MOD.pk3 file in "data" folder and add
-file "mycoolmod.pk3"
to command line of *.bat file.
If you have a problem with showout of rank menue:
type in console:
bind i "dscRankMenu"

First thing when you start the game is Symphony Of Destruction from Therion 10/10
Hey, if you add "-file %*" to your .bat files script, you can simply launch gameplay mods by drag-n-droping them onto the bat files.
This makes launching mods easier for beginner. Everything that was drag-n-droped onto the bat file be filled in where the %* is. May only work if the mod is in hte same fodler though

edit the .bat files, and just add %* at the end. Place all gameplay mods you want to try in the folder (I have brutal doom as you can see) and now you can just launch the gameplay mod by dropign them onto the .bat

Use v21. It's more optimized too and if are desperate for frames you can turn down decals and gibs to a minimum.

I'm having a fps below 25 and frequent drop frames, I have a gtx 750 1gb + fx 8320 even opening the dsc-low-res&materials;.bat. Any solution ?

hey I noticed that real time reflections are a big performance hit. Maybe you can disable them with r_drawmirrors 0.
Reducing resolution can help a lot too

Hey, I love this so far, however, I seem to have run into a problem. I leveled up and it says to press "I" to continue, I did so and nothing happens. I tried pressing L as well and it's still there. If anyone else is having this problem and got it fixed, let me know.

Great work, but my computer very weak for this game, alas.
So I got this error when trying to play it with QCDE.
vm execution aborted: array access out of bounds.
Max. index = 4, current index = 931568400
This happened seconds after I start moving around. Y'all said it was mod friendly and showcased it running with a bunch of different ones, but I guess thats not actually the case? Kinda disappointing tbh. I figured QCDE and this would be a match made in Heaven since both are arena focused mods. Is QCDE just not compatible or am I doing something wrong?
Thats a buffer overflow error or basically one mods trying to write to adjacent memory buffers and failing causing errors.
Any ideas on a fix for this?

I tried editing the BAT files with a "%*" but didn't help. I must be doing something wrong.
You should use v21 of brutal doom. v20b doesn't work with gzdoom 3.5.1 afaik
The problem is that there's a text file inside Brutal Doom v20b that has a couple of its values messed up, preventing it from running with GZDoom. For some reason in a couple places there's a lowercase L instead of a 1. You should try to either fix it yourself in Slade or just use v21.
The problems using brutal doom in general but, do what you want if you want to keep using this mod full of stolen assets from a guy who's band from zdforums and Zandronum forums for being homophobic xenophobic, racist, making fun of people with mental disabilities, psychiatric problems and actually telling someone to kill themselves with a detailed list on how to do so then be my guest

Furthermore, it appears that the text with instructions/ect at start of that first map don't appear either (I watched a playthrough to see what it is meant to look like.)
