The last few weeks have been a period of change here at RnL with the team joining up with Blackened Interactive, the makers of Project Valkyrie and Front Line Force which for us means a big step in the
direction of getting the final assets together for an initial release. For a long time we have been lacking the man power in critical areas of development and it's looking like the drought might finally be over.
Lately we have been working on improving some of the maps with Come Du Mont getting some polishing touches added and Stefan picking up Carentan Causeway again after a while off. Work has also been started on an OB port of the code base, which won't feature in the initial release but will be included in a later update.
Finally, we have some videos of the Thompson and MP40 in action we would like to share with you, please bear in mind that these are still work in progress!

I'd like to hear more ambient sounds I guess, birds twittering is nice... but this is the Second World War, a nice background war noise on top would be nice =]. The lighting is also a bit plain; but this ain't finished so errr I'll shut up now =X.

notice how i never implied there was a tool? Door breaching dose not mean "using a tool to enter a door" it means

so what I was referring too was the act or action of breaking a door using force ala kick or right foot.

About time for an update from you guys. I already forgot about R'nL, even though it used to be a mod, which I fillowed with great interest? Did you lose your Pr-guy, or what happened?
I would have liked to see some of the more innovative aspects of your game in these films, but have to agree that everyting looks supergood. There are few times in video games, I see a sewage canal that actually resembles one and isn't two meters wide and one high. Bad idea getting stuck in there...

You guys disapeared for the longest time, but im glad your back. It's looking really good at this point and i'll point out the things that I want to see in the game that I hope you guys haven't forgotten about, some of wish are just my wants and not really specified by you guys but I still think would be awesome feature wise. Of course feature-creep is always a bad thing.
* No map, you have to hold a map out to actually find out where your going.
* All voicechat is only transmitted to those within a certain distance around you while it gets quieter the farther a person is. Only radiomen can communicate between each other long distances (would be awesome... but seems like it would take a bit of tweaking to get functional)
* Emphasize teamwork!

Hell this looks amazing. This could even rival Medal of honor and Call of duty.
I'd pay good money to buy this if it was a real game but since its a free mod thats even better. :D

both r@l and dh are amazing, im expecting tis to be released soon. i saw the sling on the Thompson when u were reloading, i dont even see that in GAMES (not mods) such as brothers in arms or red orchestra
