One year and six months since the release of Jailbreak: Source 0.4, and we're finally done. Yes, 0.6 is really finished. F**k me with a toothbrush and call me Harlie, we actually did it. We're currently making 100% sure that nothing whatsoever is broken, so pardon me if I don't announce the release date just yet. So without further adieu, I present to you the Official Trailer for Jailbreak: Source 0.6. Oh, and when we said "watch out for ducks"... we really meant it.

Though not quite an 100% total conversion, i did notice a couple of source sounds and textures. But that doesn't matter.
Haha! Yeah I kinda rounded up! Close though, maybe 99.2% ;)
My experience is that it's a bad idea to ever say something is either 100% or 0% :P
As for sounds, depending on I don't think it matters that much, for example some sounds like bullets hitting certain objects, is there any reason to change that? Sounds like getting hurt and other stuff may matter, but bullets hitting metal are still bullets hitting metal!

All you will need to play Jailbreak is the Source SDK Base - Orange Box.

Hahah, brilliant mod guys! It feels like it was just yesterday that I played it and it was Combines Vs Rebels. You have made major progress, congrats! The only thing I find a shame is the fact that, the arms are still the default hl2 ones. With all of the fancy custom content, I was hoping for some custom hands too. But that is not important and can be fixed later.
Yeah we know, but we had to draw a line somewhere with 0.6 or we would never release. Custom hand models will arrive in the future, but in the meantime i hope the custom textures on the hand models will do.

Well, from now on, if you don't want this mod to die like 0.4, after 0.6 release, bring out updates often.
Yeah we know we spent too long on this release, but i think you'll find it was worth the wait.
We are planning shorter iterations in future though :)
Don't forget; we *would* have released 0.5 about a year ago had it not been for that damn crash bug >_>. We had to rebuild the entire thing from scratch for 0.6 (code-wise).

Since 1976 baby! Hehe! In all honesty, since we began developing back in 2007... I didnt want to use it until Jailbreak was good enough for the song :D
