- Elite's Conflict Mod: v1.2 is seeking to be released by early July this year. Our dedicated team is working hard to bring you a new, polished version of the mod that truly feels how a great mod should. Here is a list of some things you can expect to see in v1.2, we hope you look forward to these changes.
- New models for units including the Imperial Army Trooper, CR100 Corellian Destroyer, and EF78 Nebulon-C Battle Cruiser.
- New "Rebel Native" units.
- Updated planet descriptions to make game-play easier.
- Updated unit descriptions that are grammatically correct and more accurate.
- A significantly more balanced game than in previous versions.
- Removing redundancies in units and increasing unit uniqueness.
- A multitude of bugs and other issues have been fixed.
- A version that works for players with the CD Version of the game.
- We are looking into even more great ideas that our team and this community have given us. Please leave a comment on this article and let us know what you would like to see in v1.2!

- Elite's Conflict Mod: v2.0 Information
- The second major version of this mod will include a completely remastered third faction. We will add new units, maps, et cetera, but the focus will be on developing this new faction and making it something it never was, a true Star Wars faction. For those of you that do not know, this faction 'as of now' looks like it will be the Black Sun pirates. This would include a number of different smaller factions but together they will form a coalition of sorts to try and take their shot at galactic conquest.

I have been playing with that idea as well. I don't currently have the working models/textures but I am trying to get them yes.
If I have luck then surely that will be apart of this mod. :)
