Zone: Revisited is a modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. which aims to improve the gameplay and experience by bringing together many of the community-made mods, most of which are heavily tweaked and adjusted to ensure that they work in unison, providing balanced and consistent gameplay mechanics. While it is developed by only 1 person, a lot of time has been put into tweaking it, so players of CoP may enjoy a compilation of some of the mods, that are no longer in development (a compilation), such as S.M.R.T.E.R, the future of which is unclear (so i intended to make most of 0.41 i could). To see the mods included, read the feature list (mostly complete), you should look at the news section. Also, if you could add any media, i would appreciate it (screenshots, videos).

While the initial release of this S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat mod went less than smoothly (because Dropbox had bandwidth limitations which allowed only 20GB to be downloaded by users), i spent the last day re-uploading the archive to Mediafire, so everyone could download the mod freely.

Moddb does not accept multi-part archives because it does not accept the extension (e.g. mod.7z.001), therefore i will simply post the dropbox links here...

It works with atmosfear 3?

If you are capable of making a merge, then yes. But out of the box, no. If you intend to do this, however, you might need to patch the mod with the Atmosfear compatibility patch for M.S.O. (by also merging them, not just overwriting).

However the mod appears to be unstable, so i wouldn't recommend to download it at this state. :(

Hello Stiivais,

I am having troubles getting your mod to work. Does it require any other edits to the fsgame.ltx than the standard "$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\" ?

Thanks for the work you put into this :)

The fsgame.ltx file did not need changing. In SHOC it does but not in COP.

Hmm my original file reads

"$game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\".

In order to run any mods using the gamedata folder I had to change it to

"$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\"

So I got the mod to work by uninstalling and re-installing a couple of times but I must admit it is quite unplayable. I can play until Skadovsk. Half a dozen times the game continuously broke during the first emission while inside the Skadovsk and the another half dozen times I made it through the emission to simply have random CTDs around 5 minutes later.

One common problem for all my CTDs is that they would render my latest quicksave unloadable with numerous CTDs at my attemps to load the latest quicksave.

I'll withhold a review score until we get an update from Stiivais whether he has run into similar issues but I think this mod needs more work.

Lastly, the Vanilla game works just fine for me.

Why didn't you place the download in "downloads" section?

As for the download issues, i am very sorry.

It appears that Dropbox severely limits download capacity, going so far as cutting off downloads mid-way (that's why archives end up being smaller than values indicated in the download link article and fail to extract).

I am currently uploading to Mediafire, however this might take a long time (8 hours?), anyone who already has the mod is welcome to share with others (complete archive only).

I should probably say that i won't be able to make a torrent because of my bandwidth, yet any 3rd party reuploads or torrents will be welcome, once i get the main upload ready.

About torrnent when i will be able to download the mod i will make one. Just be advised guys that my outgoing transfer is 1 Mb/s and i will actually use my net (browsing and alike) so you only half of my max transfer rate will be available.

Also do you guys want it compressed (1 GB with possible problems when extracting) or rathe extracted (2.5 GB but already tested)

I think that the best way to do it would be compressed, since that would allow users to have as small download as possible. Of course, before you make the torrent, you should check the file, if it extracts correctly etc.

Although, i am currently only at 30% of the upload... >_<
I hate wireless internet connections.

Here's an idea: maybe smrtphoneusr (author of S.M.R.T.E.R.) hasn't disappeared, maybe he's just uploading that 10GB file with a slow internet connection? ;)

Last time when i've try to upload some mods for Silent Hunter 4 in my Mediafire he rejected multi-part archives, good luck :)
Gamefront work better, but is accessible to download only for some countries, me in Romania must use some proxie servers or cloud interface to download
Congrats for work, and no problem, we'll wait :)
