During the test it was 40, which was outside the radius of the particle effect itself. I've decreased it to 15, but it has yet to be seen whether or not it will be confined to the space which the smoke occupies.

One thing of note, the gas particles themselves do not do damage to NPCs, but it is the "blast" effect of the grenade that does, and the damage type is not explosion or chemical burn, but rather burn.

Does that mean there will be incendiary grenades at some point as well?

No, but there may be thermobaric ones, which would be far more powerful.

I know they exist for the M203, but I haven't found any info on ones for the GP-25, and before people mention the thermobaric grenades used in the GM-94, they are of different caliber/dimensions.

Tear gas for the M203 will also be available, since it's rather trivial to make a new ammo type for it that uses the same fake missile section.

And there will be ordinary smoke grenades for launchers as well.

Will this also affect masked enemies? On the pic you can see the "dead" guy is wearing a gas mask, it would be strange if a gas grenade can affect him.

well if FF gives them 'burn' immunity then they will be immune or take lowered damage i think

Gas mask NPCs would have actually worked better against these, (that was how it was originally planned,) but burn immunity works better for wounding NPCs without killing them.

The gas masks the bandits are wearing here are also very basic in construction and I do have my doubts about the efficacy of the filters they use.

Later suits like SEVA/Stalker suit also have a higher burn immunity, so technically even with CS doing burn damage different suits still have a similar effect.

Still, if you guys want I can edit the gas mask bandit models to use custom capture settings that have a higher burn immunity.

Description

Testing grenade types RGK-60RD, (tear gas hand grenade,) and Gvozd 40mm caseless tear gas grenade.

Both have had their damage dialed in just enough to maim opponents without killing them, but their effectiveness depends highly on what armor the enemy is wearing.

Overall, they offer a different option for clearing rooms in a subtle manner, as opposed to fragmentation grenades.
