1700 RU for one mag seems much, i think that you can use credit per bullet, like i did and make one bullet like 15 - 50 RU, depending on size, strength, rarity etc.

Individual bullets actually do cost around that much. Filled magazines generally cost more because they are more sought after.

I might change the selling price of filled mags in the future, as they are an easy way to get money, along with selling weapons.

Perhaps I'll play with the Economy more after I make artifacts invisible and add detectors.

If you would do that, you could alter the price traders but the bullets at? you can even make them degrade. So, for example, if an individual 5.56x45 AP round costs 25RU, a trader would buy it for less than half the price, 11RU :)

For a while now I've been trying this weapon, through X-18 in and out, and I've used it on some bandits at the car park on the way back to the rookie village. Here are my impressions.

It's a seriously powerful assault rifle. It will knock bandits down in 1 hit to their torso, if they don't die immediately from the first shot, they soon bleed to death. I did have one in a stalker suit that had more armor, it took maybe 2 hits to bring him down, one time I hit him with a glancing shot and he killed me with his shotgun and he ended up healing himself with a medkit.
