ZombieMod takes a unique approach on the Zombie Apocalypse by putting it in the perspective of a military commander, not a survivor. Since it is 2 years after the first infections, resistance on the east coast is organized, resulting in battles rather than small groups fighting for survival.
The Boyevaya Mashina Desanta (Боевая Машина Десанта) is the ideal airborne support platform, combining a deadly arsenal of a 30mm grenade launcher, a 30mm autocannon, a 7.62mm PK MG, and a 5.45mm RPK MG on a small, highly maneuverable and air-droppable vehicle. The BMD-3 comes late in the foreign support tree and is balanced by low health, less resistance against incoming fire, and a relatively high cost.

Are the Hull guns going to be usable? Perhaps only when infantry are in the vehicle they are used?
We decided not to give it transport capabilities, but yes the hull guns will work. The grenade launcher fires short bursts, the hull mg is like vcoh hull guns (so it does very little), and the coax mg is similar but does a noticeable amount of damage.
why did yall decide to not have to transport ability
Because it would probably be the most overpowered vehicle in the mod.
This is kind of wrong :(
1. The BMD-3 does not use the obsolete PK rather the new PKMT or even the Pecheneg MMG. Every Russian or Soviet vehicle or tank has machine guns fitted on them the "T" or "Tank" variant.
2. RPK is not a MG or even a LMG, it is classified as a LSW or Light Support Weapon because it's role in squad and low ammo count. Besides, RPK-74M or RPKM should be the correct designation.
Hope this helps
I'm sorry my written description was incorrect, it doesn't change how it functions in game.
Okay.
I used to be a stickler for things like this, but honestly I don't care anymore.
Russian regular troops do not use RPKM.
Only PKM/PKP and RPK74/RPK74M.
But I have seen pictures of special forces with ak 103/104. May be they ustRPKM too.
Are there any plans to perhaps include a BMPT? It is a crazily armored IFV.
Sorry, no more Russian vehicles
