This mod aims to bring the extra-galactic race of Yuuzhan Vong into SW: FoC as a playable 4th faction. Original factions will receive new units to fight these invaders.

Complement: 3 Squadron of Yorik-ets (10 in reserve); 2 Squadron of Yorik Gruttas (10 in reserve); 1 Squadron of Slayer Ships (5 in reserve)
Behold the pinnacle of Yuuzhan Vong shaping! This unique behemoth features the latest Vong technologies, array of powerful weapons, huge squadron capacity and incredibly strong hull.
The carapace - made of special mixture of metal and Yorik coral - grants the ship the above mentioned protection. However, it has even offensive capabilities: you can decide to detonate it and cause heavy damage to anything around the ship! On the other hand, this will make the ship significantly more fragile. It can also use the spikes on its bottom side to cut enemy ships as its second active ability. The last special feature is the Melting Beam, which can be fired from its mouth. This super hot stream of plasma created by fusion of 3 different intakes melts down enemy armor and thus makes the targeted ship more vulnerable against enemy fire.
I think it came out really nice, so make sure to check it in HD and in 3D on Studio.verold.com (you can see the ship with destroyed carapace there ;)

you can see that it´s the only ship presented so far without a proper vongish name (like Yxx´yy-Zzz)... so we´re eager to hear any ideas you might have for it!

Hm, nice work! Maybe something like Vuur D'rik-Ma, Srosh Maal-P'tah, Vo'od-Ro'ik, Sorik Ma-P'tal or M'Riil Pta-Ma... Well, that's just what came into my mind. Maybe some others have better names in mind, I'm not all into that Vongish either, haha.
How about this for a vong name - Yavor-bulluz ?
they are called matloks in the books a matlok is a dreadnought to us so maybe call it a D'rik-mat'lo i say that because i liked what plejadenwolf named Dirik-ma but they call them matloks in the book i just checked in the book
Were mataloks not different cruisers? The ones that were shaped like an MC80 so as to give them added stealth in republic systems?
hmmm i don't know really ,but i do know they where like a dreadnought to the ga
they mess with ship classes in the books rather often :/ This dreadnought isn´t actually canon (idk if anything from expanded universe is canon after that LucasArts/Disney statement), we just needed a late tier ship, so we came up with this. the Matalok cruiser was UVied last night, so it might appear soon ;)

i have read some vongnames and created one by my self
"Vonduun" means a heavy armor in the Vong language.
That's an amazing name, in my opinion it would fit to an individual and important worldship which resembles the ability you mentioned.
