This mod aims to bring the extra-galactic race of Yuuzhan Vong into SW: FoC as a playable 4th faction. Original factions will receive new units to fight these invaders.
We were facing some issues with this unit, but in the end it´s coded as we wanted it :)
This video demonstrates one of it´s active abilities, giving buff to speed, damage and defence to all you Vong units for a short period of time. The clusterships were transport ships meant to carry the coordinating brain-like creatures called Yammosks, so such a support ability fits it perfectly. I´ve tried to synchonize the waves with the deep horn sound and it worked well in the end.

Are you achieving all of this by cleverly using the vanilla abilities, or are you using scripts to get it working?
unfortunately, I do not know how to write these .lua scripts, so except for the Shrip Shpa teleportation ability (https://www.moddb.com/mods/yuuzhan-vong-expansion/videos/shrip-shpa-teleport-ability-demonstration#imagebox) none of these are based on custom made scripts are purely clever workarounds of concepts already ingame by the developers :D
Looks pretty good. And the sfx is perfect. Very alien feeling and kind of creepy. One comment I would have is maybe a longer fade time for the rings to dissipate...right now the cutoff is a little little sudden. Other than that it looks really good.

Reminds me heavily of soase. Also for the buff, how did you get it to apply to other units and do you have an issue with it "despawning" the buff giver when you're done?
hi, it´s actually a particle with passive ability and specific lifetime (that´s great about using such "fake" particles - you can get rid off them easily. for units, you would have to make them autodestruct). and yes, once the particle vanishes, the buff does stop to work as well.
a quick edit, it also reduces cooldown on abilities and extends range of weapons
